We understand that bees hold great importance to our way of life and it is important that us, as a community, work together to take simple steps to help sustain this precious species.

Bee numbers are on a steep and continuous decrease and the bottom line is that the earth cannot sustain 7 billion lives without out the help of the old worker bee.
Bee or
To Bee or Not to Bee is a non-for-profit organisation run to reverse the devastating effects that have occurred to bee colonies throughout history.

BRANDING & LOGO Our main aim when developing our brand and logo is to create something that is in your face and memorable. We went with a flat design style, utilizing mostly oranges and yellows, mixed with a bit of dark grey and white. Our bee logo is featured across all media platforms and is the first point of interaction with our audience. We hope it effectively resonates with them in order to gain their support for the campaign.

COMMUNICATION Our campaign aims to spread awareness via as many media platforms as possible, in order to gain attention from a greater audience. The first form takes physical action through the use of posters, billboards and even local transport. The bright designs will grab attention and familiarise the community with our brand name and aim.

COMMUNICATION The next step is to take things further via social media. It is the most effective way to spread a message in this day and age. We have chosen the most popular social media platforms to host our campaign. This is where the audience can go to find out more information about the organisation and how they can get involved.

MERCHANDISE In order to get the audience involved, we are giving away free ‘To Bee or Not to Bee’ merchandise at every community garden event we hold. Yay, free stuff!
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT In order to take action NOW, our organisation is taking steps to get the community involved and active about this issue. We will be holding Garden Takeover Events, where our team of professional gardeners will travel across the country, providing cities with the equipment and expertise for the community to plant their own flower garden. This will produce a growth in habitats for the bees, ultimately increasing colony numbers. We hope that by providing these events our audience will take this knowledge and continue to grow flowers on their own or even just spread the message.
