1)  Develop a Culture of Peace –  Peace Education Activities with 11 years old

2)  Develop Environmental Awareness –  House-to-house environmental awareness visits –  Transformation of 2 dirty spots into leisure areas

RESULTS + 50 Kids

+ 60 Parents

+ 200 Volunteers + 2.100 Houses / 8.400 Inhabitants 4 TV 10 Articles 4 Trucks of Garbage 1 Communitarian Square 1 Playground

6 Months Later…

•  2 IPP Participants stayed 1 more month, volunteering with the PO •  Most of the dirty spots remained cleaned •  The City Hall installed several recyclables collectors in the territory •  3 other environmental awareness visits were organized by the PO •  A big company invested in permanent equipment for the transformed square and playground •  Parents stated that their kids really improved at school after the project

1)  Cultural Valuing - Intercultural Exchanges and StoryTelling 2)  Digital Inclusion – Video/Photo Experiencing 3)  Online Presence– Internet and Facebook Awareness


WHAT

RESULTS + 40 Kids + 60 Parents Many Local Legends and Stories Intergenerational Exchange + 950 Friends on Project’s Facebook Many Community Youth on Facebook 1 Blog


WHAT

6 Months Later… •  4 IPP Participants have developed further projects with the PO and the community and there is even more coming soon: o  Peter showed that Dreams May Come True by providing an airplane flight o  Zé built a Handicraft House, now works for the PO and is building a Lodging o  Bianca applied a new Education’s Methodology in a School, now works for the PO and is Training near to 20 Teachers o  “Cissa” equipped and gave training in Dressmaking in order to launch locallythemed clothes so as to help on Generating Income
