BALMORAL’S SUMMER AT THE POOL SERIES

This summer is bringing record-high temperatures. Looking for a way to beat this summer heat? You could go to the local community pool. You could drive nearly an hour to the beach. Or you could go to Balmoral Resort Florida for their Summer At The Pool Series.

At Balmoral Resort, you won’t just be splashing and floating about in the water. Their pool events will be offering plenty of fun in the sun and the water, from live music, good food, specialty drinks and glow in the dark paint. Here’s what they have planned this summer:

90S GLOW PARTY AT THE POOL

July 8, 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Hey dudes and dudettes! Are you, like, totally down for a tubular time at the pool? Well, come on down to Balmoral, dress yourself up in your baggy jeans and backward baseball cap (and your swimsuit), and prepare to get jiggy with it with their 90s Glow Party. DJ Melvin will be pumping up the jams with classic 90s songs so everyone can dance now and get jiggy with it. Paint yourself up with glow-in-the-dark body paint and makeup for a chance to win a $50 bar tab. Attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets are $15.

BLACK OR WHITE POOL PARTY

Fri. July 22, 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

As Michael Jackson once sang: it don’t matter if you’re black or white. So put on your best black and white outfits and swimsuits and get ready to hit the pool and bar. Specialty drinks will be served all night long courtesy of Lucos, and the bar and grill will be serving plenty of finger-licking bite-sized appetizers. Attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets are $15.

LUAU BRUNCH SUN July 31, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Aloha, cousins. Want to escape for an authentic luau celebration but can’t afford the tickets to Hawaii? No problem, cous! Just drive to Balmoral instead. You can still splash around in the water, enjoy authentic Hawaiian cuisine, and watch performances by Samoan Fireknife Dancers. You can even learn how to perform the hula. Tickets are $45 for children and $50 for adults. Tickets include the Brunch, Pool pass for the day as well as the Entertainment.

Located along Highway 27 near Haines City, Balmoral Resort Florida is a scenic private gated community that consists of 180 vacation rental homes. Other amenities include its 10,000 square-foot Event Center, a Sports Village with a 2,500-seat stadium and football and soccer fields, and a poolside bar and grill with a mini-water park.

The Balmoral Bar and Grill especially offers a refreshing reprieve from the Florida summer sun with its lakeside pool and its water park with splash pad, water slides, and spray guns. More than simply a pool, it is a whole experience in and of itself—which is why the resort is inviting the public to drop by, check it out, and take a dive and splash with its Summer Pool Series.

Since 2017, Balmoral Resort Florida has offered visitors to Central Florida a home away from home during vacation. After a long day at the theme parks and other attractions in Orlando, the resort offers the comforts of home with several hundred vacation home rentals in a cozy private gated community.

Over the years, Balmoral has expanded its outreach as more than a place to stay on vacation. There is no other venue in Polk County that has what we have to offer, and so we want to make sure and spread the word and get everyone to come out and have fun, enjoy our events that will keep them coming back” The Balmoral Event Center has many other fun events planned, including a drag show and dinner on Aug. 27, a Stevie Nicks concert on Nov. 12, and another Girls Night Out celebration on Oct. 19. Whether you want to cool off from the summer heat at the pool or rock out to live music performed by local bands and traveling artists, Balmoral Resort Florida has a little bit of something to offer for both locals and tourists. “We are your local live entertainment venue and whether it is a dinner show, a tribute band playing, local entertainment or our Sunday Brunch, we encourage everyone to come visit us.
