NOV 5 – Nov First Friday. Head to Downtown Lakeland on the first Friday of every month for First Friday; new theme each month. This month is the “Buffalo Soldiers Night” Downtown shops and restaurants will be open late. Enjoy goodies, giveaways, and discounts from local business exhibitors. NOV 5 to 14 – Harvest Holler Corn Maze.
A fun fall day on a working family farm! Enjoy the corn maze, pumpkin patch, live animals, hay ride, cow train, corn hole, tire swings, hay fort, corn bin, photo opportunities, and the Frankenslide kids playground! NOV 6 – Multi Cultural Festival. Winter Haven’s first Multi Cultural Festival is an event where we can experience the world, in our own backyard. It will display a variety of International foods and goods representing a variety of countries and cultures. There will be Vendors, Food Trucks, a Live DJ, Live Dance Performances & more! Located Downtown Winter Haven Central Park. Sat, 11-5 pm.
NOV 11 – Lakeland Food Truck
Rally. Tampa Bay Food Truck Rally brings food trucks to Munn Park on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Come on out to Downtown Lakeland and enjoy a variety of Florida food trucks and their delicious cuisine. 20 plus food trucks come together each month and park on the streets surrounding beautiful Munn Park. NOV 13 – Honey Bee Festival.
Hosted by Main Street Bartow. Unique Crafts, Open Car Show, Bee Education Areas, Antique Market, Butterfly Tent, Food and Fun. Located along Bartow’s Main Street. Sat, 9-4 pm.
NOV 16 – Tasty Tuesday. Third Tuesday of every month. 10 tastes from downtown bars, restaurants and sweet shops. New offerings every month. Tasty Tuesdays are a super fun way to experience multiple Downtown restaurants all in one night! You get hearty sample sizes with each ticket, and move from place to place at your own pace! Tastings begin at 4:30pm and end at 9pm. Purchase your ticket package from LDDA. Tickets come in packets of 10 for $25. (additional packs may be purchased in increments of $5 which is 2 tickets). DEC 2 – City of Lakeland Christmas Parade.
Hosted by The Junior League of Greater Lakeland and the City of Lakeland, the Lakeland Christmas Parade is held annually on the first Thursday in December. DEC 3 – Havendale Christmas
Parade. The Havendale Christmas Parade will kick off at Spring Haven Retirement, continuing West on Havendale Blvd., ending at Publix in Auburndale. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance! Get ready for a great evening to celebrate all things Christmas. Fri, 7 pm.
DEC 3 & 4 – Holiday FlyIn Festival and Car
Show. The two-day fly-in/drive-in event will include a show plane area, car show, live music, and many other activities. Innovative and intriguing competitions, exhibits, and vendors are imminent this year. Competitions include a Scale Model Aerospace and Aviation Themed Gingerbread Competition, and the ACE Skylab Passport/Passbook Program to mark the tradition of Howard Hughes’ historic flight around the world. DEC 4 – 32nd Annual Carols in the Park.
For over thirty years, artisans, specialty food vendors, and local choral groups have gathered in Downtown Winter Haven’s Central Park to kick off the holiday season. This event has become a tradition for multiple generations, with a special Candy Cane Corner for children of all ages! Kids will enjoy free pictures with Santa Claus, a take-home holiday craft, and a bounce house. Located Downtown Winter Haven, Central Park. Sat, 10-6 pm.
