Things of beauty
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU NEED TO ADD TO YOUR MAKEUP BAG? HERE ARE A FEW SUGGESTIONS, PLUS SOME MUST-KNOW BEAUTY TIPS.
Perfume
There’s more to a fragrance than simply spraying it on your wrists and being on your way. Here’s how to get the most from your perfume:
Apply it to your skin (don’t just spray it in the air and walk through it).
Put it on your pulse points: side of the neck, behind the ears, or inside the elbows and knees. These areas of the body are warm and will give your scent a place to anchor.
Don’t rub it! Top notes are very important, so that means no rubbing your wrists together. Allow the perfume to work the way it was intended.
Avoid spraying it in your hair.
Try layering fragrances you love to get your own, personal scent.
Dry it out
Dry shampoo can be your best friend, especially when travelling (say, on your honeymoon for example). Use it sporadically (not habitually), spray at the roots, target the oily areas, and bam! You’re good to go!

A LITTLE DRY SHAMPOO CAN ALSO ADD GREAT VOLUME TO YOUR HAIR!
