Small Business or Non-Profit Get the Details on Public & Private Grants TUESDAY MAY 29 | 4:30PM - 7:30PM | $50 This workshop will explore the grant opportunities available to your business or organization. It will explore how to pursue Federal and State Government grants and also Regional opportunities and Foundation funded grants. We will also make sure you are ‘grant ready’ with the right paperwork. Taylor has decades of experience with corporations and nonprofit organizations: writing proposals, preparing successful grant applications, identifying grant opportunities, vetting nonprofit organizations when they request funds, creating business plans and financial forecasts.
Alice Taylor Principal, Research Strategy Technology Alliance (RSTAlliance) Alice is both the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Los Angeles Maritime Institute at the LA Waterfront and the Principal in the consulting firm RSTAlliance. She works with profit and non-profit entities, and is particularly skilled at publicprivate partnerships and the pursuit of grant opportunities at local, regional, state, and federal levels. She serves on the board of the South Bay Entrepreneurial Center as the director in charge of grants and individual donors. Alice is also the Board President of the Friends of the Redondo Beach Public Library.
