KEY COMPETENCES – IDEAL ENTREPRENEUR This was a very original workshop when we continue to express our creativity, immagintion, team spirit and, why not, our sense of humour.First step was to define in some key words ARTS and ENTRPRENEURSHIP ART is in our perception: way to express ourselves, inspiration, creation, universal language, pain, activism, life, transformation, lifestyle, talent, understanding, talent, joy, skills, expression, philosophy, movement, emotions and so on ENTREPRENEURSHIP was define as: initiative, beginning, hard work, idea to action, self employment, confidence, effort, courage, time to money, innovation, motivation, sacrifice and of course...business
Discussions continued with finding out what skills, attitudes and information are the most important for arts entrepreneur and the most discussed were: creativity, patience, self confidence, motivation, imagination, innovation, information about history of art, open mind, research, marketing, build connections, discipline, promotion and strong sense of self work... So, now to work...in teams we created our model of “ideal entrepreneur” using clay, balloons, recycled matherials and our imagination. It was a nice atmosphere and all “conflicts” generated by so many ideas were solved in consensus so in the end we had the exhibition with our MODELS

“Turtle the Vincent was inspired from the artist Vincent van Gogh. As an artist he had a different perspective towards life art and money. He starved and had psychological disease. He had valuable pieces to sell with and an art dealer brother but he was a fail as an entrepreneur because of his perspective . (which we respect anyway) so we reincarnated him as a turtle so he can success this time with determination. and there is middle finger hand to tell everyone who called him mad to f%*k off and continue as a successful artist. The Devil cat was representing his best and worst friend Gauguin because of the rumors about their Friendship

FROM RECYCLING TO UPCYCLING We discovered it’s so easy to give another shape to things you don’t wear or use anymore so we created decorative objects, clothes, toys, flower pots and other pieces of art that can be displayed anywhere: home, in a restaurant or a garden.

LAND ART
Dramandala.(right) The collaborative land art work was inspired by Leonardo da Vinci theory of golden rule in human body and how we are connected to nature in this way. The mandala represents the sacred geometry of life and the sticks in the middle is the inspiration by dracula bcs of our location. Draculas sacrifices. myth inspired us to use these sticks and we placed three leaves on top to present main sources of life. The Sun, The Eart and The Moon.
Dead End (left) Our Land art is presenting a bridge build by the Forest, who is trying to clean up himself. We got an inspiration by watching leftovers and trash in the area. What was shocking this particular venue was perfectly cleaned up by previous group just few days before. Little Legend: Once upon a time, when the Forest couldn’t handle anymore peoples’ behaviour and ignorance, it decided to get read of all the trash by himself. Using all available sources, the Forest build the natural bridge where it could lead garbage to special place. It was not a factory but more like a storage. Cause we all know that plastic is not biodegradable and it would stay in the earth forever in unchanged form, the Forest have decided to use it to get read of Humans and kill them with their own creation. ‘’What goes around comes around…’’

„Bridge“ (down right) Land art, branch, leafs, landscape 2018 Land art object Bridge remains a connection between two sides. People interact with each other all the time and make conncections. Each branch and leaf simbolise the contribution of every step towards the other side in order to understand and collaborate. Bridge is a metaphorical connection between us. The art object is a result of the collaboration of team from Cyprus, Romenia, Poland, Lithuania and Spain.

BUSINESS PLANS – these are the results of our work in one of the mains workshop. We had ideas and developed them using the template offered by organizers and experienced presentations using storytelling, interviews, posters and videos.Different ideas, different expressions...
1.“CityMakeover” Story about CityMakeover Red brick wall on the left side of city, kind broken in half and hole in midlle of it. Right side of city a really big park and the tallest Office tower with really grey walls from inside to out. it is easy to go and forget all about this, about roads which are broken, it is just normal everyday life. You wake up in the morning, around 7.00 dressup, eat up and then workup. Eat some dinner and go home and sleep. But a young group of people said “Enough! No more boring buildings in this city!” And that’s how it started .This group of people turned every building in an art piece and turned this grey cit into a colorfull masterpiece only using creativity and hope. After they were done with this city they decided to turn other cities and that’s howthey got the name “CityMakeover” MainIdea: A group of artists and young people who realized how boring is their environment and their everyday lives in the city where they live, full of gray walls, car noises, damaged houses leading them to depression. So, the artists really wanted to change that and put some color to their lives through every possible field of art you can imagine. Like graffiti and street art on walls and buildings, sculptures, performance actions, land art, theater, dancing and music in public spaces for example metro stations.
Target Group: City Makeover is aiming to change the world undertaking various project with the collaboration of City municipalities, Public and social organizations, private businesses but also individuals who could be interested in transforming and improving their place. Logo:
Roger, make our city Beautiful! Over!
Slogan:“Roger, Make our city beautiful! Over!” 12
Management Plan: The main core is an organization team consisted of a number of artists who help to manage and organize different actions in their city and helping smaller teams all around the world with their own connections, actions and communications with possible customers in their city as well.
Marketing Plan:The team is promoting its services via their actual acts and their contribution to city’s transformation, their presence in events and festivals making art, through advertisements, Internet, Billboards, Social Media, flyers and mouth to mouth advertisement. Risks: One main risk on the market is the possibility for the Municipality to decide and make a deal about an art piece that the locals do not like it at the end and vandalize it. The client organization or company to be a project based organization so maybe there is not a stable or regular income for the artists. The outdoor activities and mural-making could depend on weather conditions.
13
Resources: Human Resources are consisted by the big community of artists all around the world who participate to this idea. Material Resources are about the Art supplies and constructions that artists will need during the making process, as well as musical instruments, and any other important media it may be necessary. Financial Resources are consisted from the payment of the Municipalities, Businesses and Individuals. Also a lot of artistic actions could be supported by various funding from European Union or the government of a specific city or individual investors who are interested and want to support art. Initiative added value/ results – cherry on cake: The main aim of the company is to make the world a happier place using different forms of art, encourage and help people to understand and appreciate more the importance of the Art in our lives and how easily and beautiful can its presence to our environment effect our feelings, behavior, and everyday lives. As well young generation to work for us, that gives offers first job experience. Our
flyer:
“ After the project, I feel in me more wish to express myself in art direction. Ffrom this project, I learned that art is all around us, and actually Earth itself without ART is just EH. There are so many ways how to express yourself and I believe that we are made in this world to be fully living humans who do not sit at home, but go outside and inspire from Mother Nature. I know sometimes living fully is asking a lot of sacrifices, but we are living just once. May God lead you. “ – MARCIS- Latvia 14

STORY: There was an old artist Joe disappointed with his life, lack of money and the fact that no one could see his art. The only thing that made him happy was a morning cup of coffee. He was making the best coffee in the world. On a hot Friday morning while having the coffee he decided to paint a painting. While doing it he accidentally spread his coffee all over the table his painting and then the magic happened the idea came like from heaven! He decided to open a coffee shop where he could show and sell not only the best coffee he knew how to make but also his art. He decorated the coffee shop with his art, then other artists came and said: “Hey! We want to show people our crafts and if they like them we want to sell them!” Joe didn’t have to wait long. His coffee shop was removable piece of art. Each table, chair, lamp, even the table setting was unique and changing really fast because people were buying almost everything that was exposed. Art became a part of everybodys lif. Gaining a new handmade masterpiece was always proceded by a simple cup of coffee. Everytme Joe was telling the story he kept on saying with a big smile on his face: “SPREAD THE ART”.
INTERVIEW: 1. Where did the idea come from I studied for 6 years and then I couldn’t find a job. No one would buy my paintings so I decided to get a job. My boss kept asking me: “Are you busy Joe” and I used my whole body but it wasn’t enough. They kicked me out and I just drank coffee and cried that is how years were passing by. Then I spread a cup of coffee on a painting and that is how the idea came. 16
2. What do you really sell- coffee or art I sell coffee which is a piece of art as well. The barista draws anything you want on the top and then while drinking coffee people can see the unique paintings on the walls, tables, chairs, spoons whatever artists bring to our coffee shop to be sold. 3. Why are you special Because our things are good quality and unique- not mass produced. We make unknown artists famous and we give them the opportunity to get money for the art they make. The interior is never the same. 4. Do you get money from selling the art Yes, the deal is win- win. I get 20% of the shown price 80% is for the artist. I think it is fair as it is like paying for renting space. 5. How did you get the money for starting up the coffe shop I got 50% founds from entrepreneurs. I made a loan as well. I used for example the coffee present from my mom I When artist got to know created the furniture place.
the UE- for young business plan and got a some upcycled thingsmachine is old. It was a just renovated it. about the idea they and so on to equipe the
6. What about musicians We organize concerts at the evenings and throughout the day we play their music. If somebodylike it we can buy a CD. We have also customized instruments (which you can of course buy) that young musicians can use and play some jam sessions. 7. Have you got any specific target group Not really. Not a specific one. We devoted our target group by age: 16-25 are the young people who will came just to watch the art, listen to music or bring their crafts to sell them 25< are those who are more likely to buy this crafts.
I am really happy that I was one of the participants of this project. Thanks to that I understand that in relationships the most important is not your language skills, grammatical staff but emotions, your good mood, your good energy. Thanks to activities I have become more creative. I have learned that from rubbish we can do something, we can reuse it what's really important to know that. I also want to say that the best here was to see a lot of young people, working with each other, laughing with each other, helping each other even they are from the other countries. Creativity has no limit, beautiful people are everywhere. MONIKA - Poland

3. IHY – I HEAR YOU Have you ever found yourself humming your own type of melody? We did. Many times. Spoiler alert-we didn't go to 5 year long music school, but somehow we are able to create our own tunes. How is that? We believe that music is a universal human language that everyone understands but very few can speak, it's time to change that. Many people think that in order to create music you need to go through many years of intensive education, or come form certain artistic background or even that only some type of people are creative enough, entitled in some way, to create beautiful original sounds. Boring stereotypes. Another misconception we don't agree with is that if you don't start making music when you're young you'll never be able to learn, "you can't teach an old dog new things" kind of mindset which is wrong on so many levels. This is why we, Ihy, decided to create Open Beginners Electronic Music Production Workshops. Cool? That's definitely the time to start getting excited. We believe that you don't need any previous music education, specific background and you surely don't need to be in your twenties. The only thing necessary is a thought, a little wish or tiny hope that maybe you could also create music and stream the sounds that are hidden in you.
Story: Long time ago in distant Mexico there was an older lady called Mama Imelda, she dedicated her life to providing for her children and grandchildren, she didn't have any specific art education but she has always felt she has a soul of an artist, she loved humming her own songs. She feared her love to cretaing music might never be able to thrive. Far away in hot India there was a girl, Ramari, her parents were lawyers and pushed her to follow the same career. But her heart wanted to make music, afraid that her family would reject her she has never pursued this dream. 18
Mama Imelda and Ramari were yet to discover that there was a group of young entrepreneurs that were aiming to change their fate and help them fulfill their hopes by cretaing a series of open beginners music productions workshops.
Who? We are Ihy - I hear you We want to provide music ceation skills to all interested We don't think we are gods but the egyptian god of music Ihy is also kind of a good inspiration right? What? Open Beginners Electronic Music Production Workshops 3 weekends from Friday to Sunday Fri 4pm-8pm, Sat-Sun 8am-8pm including lunch and coffee breaks Accomodation is available Methods? Ableton (a software music seqencer) MIDI controllers After the course you will gain basic music production skills using Ableton software and MIDI controllers yu jjm Requirements? basic computer skills a wish to create your own unique sounds open mind and enthusiasm
Risks and resources: When it comes to building your commercial strategy we must concider the risks. The main risks for IHY are such as not getting customers interest in the workshops which is followed by lack of demands for such services. Further more it might also face the finansing problem especially if there is a big competition with similar companies which could also steal our companies ideas. If we don‘t have any problems with the risk part IHY is going to live by getting European uninion funds and personal investments which will be used to buy „Ableton“ software, midi controllers (AKAI MPK MINI) and also the laptops. Marketing: When everything is in their own place it is a good choise to start marketing your project like making online seminars on facebook, posting information on instagram, twitter, youtube, official webpage. A really great way to advertise and to market is to show up on music festivals and pubs/bars just to show it to the people publicly.
19
It is also a good idea to visit schools, culture/youth centres, making public expositions, inviting famous musicians for collaboration. It is also really good to do promo days, make promotional videos so people could see a clearer view of the company. Finaly with the marketing, IHY would be able to advertise on the radio, during sport events and also playing a treasure hunt game.
Management:
A company is not a company without management so as long as we have it planed and secure company shall thrive. IHY plans to have a mobile workshop locations (mainly in schools, cultural centers and etc, which wouldn‘t require payment for the rent). To gain some profit and keep the company going workshops would cost 300e per weekend + 30e for the meals(optional). At the beginning IHY would have only two employed qualified teachers per workshop untill it is requered to have more. It will also sell stuff like phone cases, t-shirts with IHY logo on them etc. IHY would also own 6 laptops (~600e each) with basic ableton programs (~80e each) inside and 6 midicontrollers(~260e per controller) it would be used 1 laptop and 1 midi controller per 2 persons. The maximum count of people in workshops would be 12.
This project for me was a new opportunity. It is opportunity to travel, to know people from different countries, to know more about another cultures, to meet new friends. In this project I improved my english language! Now I feel more comfortable to communicate in english. This project was a possibility to go out from my comfort zone, because it was my first project. It was the best decision! And ofcourse now I know more about art ! –KAROLINA - Lithuania 20
4.SLEEP & PLAY There was a band from Finland called Tornado! The young musicians were on the road to go to their breakthough concert in Latvia. Even though they weren’t confident enough to present the new album live yet, these young entrepreneurs couldn’t just pass this amazing opportunity. But while driving through the harsh Estonian wild lands, a local gang known for popping tires, pop pedall 4 tires on their bus. With the help of google, they finally managed to change the tires, but now they were getting nervous because of all the preciou time that was wasted. When they finally got to Riga, they were practically panicking. Not only did they need more practice on their music, now, they had nowhere to spend the night. “If only there was a place where we could sleep and rest for a bit and then practice our set before the show.” said the drummer. It was at that point he noticed a sign in the distance that said “Sleep’N’Play”. It was a hostel with spaceous, soundproof rehearsal rooms. Some of the rooms even had drumkits set up for bands who are in a hurry and need to save every second. Fully rested, both mentally and physically, the band practiced the new album for few hours, which was enough for them to regain their confidence after the incident they had on the road, and they went on to have an amazing show.

Interesting experience. It was challenging in a way to understand the perspective of "others" towards art as a Fine arts Student. It was good expirience to have business dicussions in a collaborative practice. Most remarkable part was intercultural nights that is what most inspired me. I had fun and I learned. Mission accomplished from my side! BUGCHE - Cyprus

Fairy tail Once upon a time in a small villige of the north france in a little cottage house the little girl was sleeping. Her name was Geneviev. Before she went to bed during the dinner with her mom dad and favorite dog Jepetto she had a mood for an apple. She asked mum to bring her one. Geneviev was very excited when she saw big, red fruit and couldn’t wait to have a bite. –Aaaaaaaa! The little one screamed and pointed out on her hand where she split a little white “rock”. –Mum, mum look! The apple had a stone inside!. Parents laugh loudly.- No sweetheart its your first tooth which got out. –It means I will have no tooth?. -No, silly love…don’t worry- Dad said. –It will grow back and now we will take this one and put under the pillow over the night so the tooth fairy can bring you a coin in the morning as a reward! Genewiev eyes were full of tears but big trough smile appear on her face at the same time. Later on that night when the room was dark and moon was shining on the sky something magical happen. Just as dad said the little fairy came to Genewiev room. She snick into the room trough open window and flew toward little girl. She looked at sleeping one to assure she won’t wake her up and gently reach for the tooth. When she finally got it and place it into her tiny bag she was ready to leave. Fairy returned to her tree house. It was very difficult to find a space to put new tooth. All shelf, drawers, tables were already full. After few minutes she managed to arrange the space. –Ough no! I forgot to leave the coin- the fair noticed while taking out the tooth from the bag. What to do what to do! The fairy was lacking of time, the sun was almost rising, her wings went out of control because of the mess and rush accidentally she dropped down one of the magic bottle. Sparkling and shiny mixture spread all over the place. Fairy was blinded from the lights and colors. The mixture was a gift. She got it as a present from her grandma. Long long time ago grandma was trying to save the life of an great artist but she was not strong enough for that however she found the way to save at list his soul and put it into a crystal jar. Fairy opened her eyes. All teeth fell apart into gold and silver pieces. Fairy was very sad about that so she decided to recreate them just like a puzzles. When she finished she was very amazed by the result. She got an idea to take one f them instead of the coin but that was to heavy to put it into the gentle bag made of butterfly wings. Fairy found the chain to place tooth on and drag it back o Genevieve house. -Mom look! Daddy was wrong its not a coin, it’s a necklace. The end.
“ For me this project was the best combination of my interests, art and business and what i gained from this experience is a sense of possibility. I feel capable now to do beautiful things and merchendise them. I learned to relax in team tasks and to focus less on the result but on the process. I am thankful for the people i met. “ – DIANA - Romania

6. REDIFO
The idea is to create and app/portal for artists from all fields and their fans, to have a platform where fans could discover new artists through recommendation of other fans, and also recommend to their favourite artists, people to collaborate with. These collaborations could be also funded by fans, and all that would help to increase the chances of the artists by combining their strenghts and fanbases to reach a point that they could develop their carrier into business.
Dominic was a typical musician, who shares his creation online. He has a Youtube channel, Instagram and Facebook account. His music has something original in it, and Dominic had few hundreds of dedicated fans, but it was not enough for his music passion to be more than a hobby. Dominic also would really like to collaborate with other musicians, but he lived in small town, and was quite shy, so he had a hard time to find somebody that will match his artistic style and was willing to collaborate. One day somebody recommended to him to use the trending ReDiFo App - that helps to connect artists through their fans. After few weeks he started to get recommendations by fans, that he should make a song with Jasmine, a singer that is few hundred kilometers away, but both his and her fans feel, like there is a match between their styles. He decides to take the initiative and write to her. They decide to compose a song and record it remotely. It turned out big success among their fans, and inspired by that reception, they decided to meet for a longer time in real life in studio to work on EP album. They asked their fans to help them with funding. 27
Through the process of creating the album, they realized that they also match on personal level, not only music, and that’s how they became a couple. Now they have a joined fan database, a ready album for a tour, and they discovered love. ********** Our customers would be both artists and fans, that are familiar and used to social media and internet. Presumably that would lean towards young people and freshly starting artists, or those who always considered it more of a hobby. Risks of this projects involve: Lots of apps that has that have some of the similar functionalities, market oversaturated by social media. Not enough interested people to make the ecosystem work. Resources and funding: We will need programmers and IT specialists, servers, an office, and marketing strategy. For funding we would need investors or bank loan to start the project, but once the product is ready, the revenue will come mostly from advertisements in the app and by taking a small cut, from the funds that were collected from the fans to do collaborations. Marketing strategy: - Campaing in the social media – short clips, targeted ads - putting some promising artists together for a collaboration, to show the power of working together, and then marketing the results ; live show, with concerts and app We hope that our platform will contribute to further connection of people through their interests, will positively combat the unemployment among artists, and create more opportunities for valuable art to be made and experienced by society

Interview: Today we speak with young entepreneurs, who are just releasing a new app for the artists and their fans: I: Hello and how are you doing? You are probably very busy for the last few weeks E: Hello, I'm fine, thank you, but indeed, beeing an entepreneur especially in art buisness is no joke. I: -One quick question then– What's the name of your company and how would you describe your perfect client: E: - Our company's name is “ReDiFo” Which is a very melodic name in my opinion, that also contains parts of our main slogan which is : Follow! Discover! Recommend! Those 3 areas are the key actions that our platform makes possible. We are proud to say, that our ideal client is actually everybody, that is interested in art, whether you are a fan, consumer, or an artists. We want to create ecosystem open for everyone I: - Lovely, You mentioned that you rely heavily on social media. Aren't you afraid that your service will just vanish in the sheer amount of the plaforms and social medias that are already on the market? Why you think your story will be different? E: Good question! In our team, we belive, that we are the only ones that provide a complex service that create a hub for all your social media feeds like instagram and facebook in one place, that let you create a profile and instantly gather all your followers in one place. Moreover, our key element, which is ability to recommend artists who the should collaborate with, gives unique opportunity for fans to get involved, and in a sense create art by themselves through beeing a part of this massive web of creative people.
I: Seems like you really have figured everything out! Well, thanks for your time and wish you all the best with your startup! E: Thank you! This project was amazing because of amazing people. I have an opportunity to get known more about other countries, other cultures. I have also learned how to be entrepreneur, how to connect art with entrepreneurship. But, in my opinion, the best thing at this project was activities, which let me learning by playing, learning by having fun with each other. KRZYSZTOF - Poland

Story telling Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away, a princess was about to marry. However, she would only marry a man, who would give her something special. One of potential husbands, prince Rubart, was desperately in love with the princess, but he didn’t know what to give to the princess so that she would choose him. One day, he came across an old abandoned handbag. The handbag was sad that nobody wanted her because she was old. Prince Rubart decided to take the handbag home. He was working hard on the handbag throughout the whole night. The prince made the handbag pretty again, using an ancient technique called upcycling. Besides, the handbag was really happy because nobody has ever touched her like the prince did and she felt like new. The next day, Prince Rubart presented the princess with the handbag and it was like nothing she has ever received. The princess did not desire any expensive gifts or jewels, she wanted this one, unique, upcycled handbag. And so she married prince Rubart and they live happily together ever after. “It was an interesting combination of these terms that made the project unique, meeting people who had skills in the artistic and economic domain. Besides the workshop that made us more connect and aware of our similarities in these fields, the thing I enjoyed the most was the performance where I had to push my comfort zone and to speak in front of many people EXPO & PERFORMANCE We worked more than 2 days to complete our show and even if we started with a long brain storming in the end we had time to have everything in time for the final day.Our group leaders were great, worked and rehearsed with us and coordinated things like real managers, directors and booking agents. On our side we learnt to adapt our abilities and we managed a lot of difficulties artists usually have linked with resources, finance, planning, partners, promotion. The EXPO teams prepared from recycled matherials and trash interesting objects that can be useful as decoration or sold as real pieces of art. Part of them were presented and left at the venue in Buzau, others were left in Monteoru and we took photos that were displayed everywhere in ARTS CAFE.

-Spanish Chicas wonderful flamenco - Any and Dominic poetry and guitar -Anna and Ondrej lyric moment -Macedonian Boys feat.Kuba and then all together singing on the stage and dancing...and dancing...and dancing Challange completed - thats how I would describe this project for myself. Cause this time it wasnt the easiest or funniest but definiteally worth and fruitfull exchange. "Working" on business in art with such huge group of individuals was incredible experience, full of various emotions, ideas, characters, way of thinking and different approaches of dealing with the same tasks. What i will take with me on my journey as Cultural Manager is: big patient, long term thinking, ability to be flexible, and idea that the smallest contribution can bring the biggest impact as well as great memory of all people who made it happen!
