In my free time I love to travel, listen some music, going to concerts and festivals, read some good books, watch movies with my family and meet friends for a glass of wine. I have a cat named Tsumpi (dynamic and a bit crazy in a good way). First of all I am happy that this project happend because its a project that it was approved in spring 2019 and it was postponed several times because of the pandemic situation. This project is part of a cycle of exchanges that we did about the 4 main elements of nature: Fire, Earth, Air, Land. I was really impressed by the creativity in youngsters, starting with creating posters and continiuing with upcycling, theater and videos. I also appriciated the group dynamics and the support that they give one to eachother. In terms of partnership I am happy that we had a good project together with our traditional partners that stayed connected with us and were interested to see how the volunteers are going and what they are learning. My favourite place in the world is Praga, I love the city, the architecture, the atmosphere, the music on the bridges. My message for my future self is “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken”

By definition, upcycling means reusing discarded objects or materials in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original. For the sake of our project, we were given some raw materials to make something out of “nothing”. Then, each participant was assigned to a group so that the people could work together and create multiple objects. There were many creative approaches to create and bring ideas to life, however, brainstorming was the most common way to do so. There we all had much fun and a lot of room to release our creative potential. What do you think about this activity? Well, I think it was interesting how you use garbage to make something artistic or practical in day-to-day activities.

Vilage

The Erasmus project the land I love in the quiet city of Sarato Monteonu( Buzau) , where give important environment lessons. The air is clean and the atmosphere is so pleasant. The silence it self, the song of a bird, the bright blue sky and the endless fields show that there is a precious life. With the teams we cleaned the village there were places with a lot of garbage, but we helped this village to be even cleaner.

Workshop: Land in our lifes We worked in international teams to learn facts about the issues of land in our countries. It was an amazing opportunity to learn about the differences in use and threats to the land in different countries. The most interesting, however, was finding common areas in which we all can do something together. The collaboration between nations was completed with the creation of posters that we present in the photos. Through teamwork and the creation of the posters we were introduced to the importance and the risks we are facing to further degradation of our land with big emphasis on quality and pollution...

Landart The land is a nonrenewable natural resource that is becoming more fragile and less available as we continue with our careless exploitation. It is the land that produces our crops and food, it’s the land where all the minerals and ores are extracted, it’s the land that gives shelter and is home to much of the terrestrial flora and fauna of the world and it’s the land that we build on our cities, industries, infrastructures and economies without which modern human civilizations cannot function. Yet, it seems that we humans often forget these facts and take for granted our dependence on land and resources. We are using way too many chemicals in mining, overusing pesti/insecti/herbicides and soil fertilizers in agriculture, we are destroying ecosystems just to make more space for growing crops, we are more and more cutting down forests and burning fossil fuels to satisfy today’s demand for electricity, transport and food for the highest ever recorded population in history. Our factories, industries, cities, transportation vehicles and armed conflicts are polluting the soil and cause a long lasting damage to the environment. Human activities are slowly, but surely destroying and degrading land. In only a few decades from now we are to reach a point of no return where the damage would be notable and life-changing. It is clear that we are at high stakes here and we must start being more conscious and aware that ME and YOU are the beginning of the solution to the problem!

Workshop World Café.

On 21 of February, the second day of the project, we organized the workshop World Café. In this activity we had five tables with five discussion topics moderated by Ellie (Bg), Troyan (Bg), Juanje (Sp), Vic (Ro) and Ancuța (Ro). The themes were related to the soil pollution, causes and effects of soil pollution but also about solutions and responsible use of all the natural elements that we have. All of the participants were happy to discuss and share their opinions and ideas about how we could create a better environment and how to preserve the nature. Each one of them participated in all of the discussions and from their experience tried to find solutions for all the problems. Even if people are from different environments, our planet it’s the same, so everything is connected and the answers are the same. All of them spread awareness about the importance of the soil and a good state of it. In this way, everything is connected to a fertil and clear soil. With this, we can have a full filing life, and a healthy one. Without it, everything is under a big pressure and a normal lifestyle and a healthy one is impossible to have. The final posters were various, some of them full of ideas and written opinions, others were mostly made of schemes and drawings, but all of them described well the topics. The final results of the activity are that everyone had a good experience of trying to find in a very short time the biggest and most problematic things about the needed topic. We found and settled some of most valid informations and ideas and had a productive discussion about it. The final products were satisfying for all of us.

Theater cases The theater was an activity where each team prepared a show which was supposed to introduce the audience to a big issue regarding today’s environmental pollution. Loss of fertile land and clean water for agriculture, respiratory diseases, skin diseases, and other health problems - of them are real effects of pollution and consumerism. In our theater cases, we did our best not only to introduce the publicity to those issues but also to show their potential solutions. Each team had its own vision of how to prepare and present its show. Many teams decided to make a strict plan and long preparation, however, some teams felt better with improvisation and conveying their genuine emotions. We were trying to entertain the audience but, what was more important, to raise their awareness about the importance of taking care of the environment so that we’ll prevent further degradation and its implications. In the end, we were happy that we had the opportunity to exchange our ideas in a pleasant, non-formal way. We have certainly drawn the right conclusions and we will remember this experience for a long time. Below we present some photos from the theater
