DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
"Images and words" was an exchange that took place in Sarata Monteoru and Buzau between 29 may -7 june 2019. Partnership consisted in 42 participants from 8 countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain and Romania. The context was linked with the problems of youngsters to access labour market and business field, to promote and valorize their entrepreneurial ideas. The aim of the project was to increase the employability of young people aged 18-25 and their success in the business environment by developing innovative spirit and entrepreneurial creativity and enhancing skills for initiating and promoting entrepreneurial ideas The methodology was based on nonformal education and consisted of games, presentations, debates, role plays and simulations, entrepreneur education, workshops, visits, intercultural evenings. The project activities were getting to know eachother and trust games, teambuilding and group dynamics exercises, presentations of Erasmus + program and youthpass certification, cultural and study visits in Buzau county. There was an introductory workshop about youth unemployment and entrepreneurship based on research in the preparation phase, followed by a key competencies understanding workshop and activities to teach young entrepreneurs to create video promotion. The central part was occupied by two workshops that in 8 groups developed a business plan and then a strategy to promote entrepreneurial initiative through media and video. We want to thank to all participants and to our partners for involvement and to Casa cu Tei pension for being such a perfect host Catalina and Tolea Postovei – project coordinators
Youth unemployment in the EU
The unemployment is the term used for the ones without a workingplace, for the people good and qualified for work. This phenomenon is different from a country to another. In the EU in the last years a big problem became the unemployment of youth that led that this topic to be a priority for Erasmus + program. In our project we ried to discover the similitudes and differences in our countries, to understand which competences we need for labour market and business field and to prepare ourselves to promote our ideas and initiatives.
After a workshop done by teenagers from 8 countries, divided in international teams, it proofs that the unemployment rate for youngsters in our countries is over the EU average or very close: -Romania 23.3 % -Bulgaria 21.4 % -Lithuania 16.9 % -Latvia 15.7 % -Croatia 43.6 % -Italy 42.7 % -Spain 49.9 % -Greece 49.7 %
What was interesting to discover was the big difference between numbers showing general unemplyment and youth unemplyment which is quite terrified. The reasons for unemployment ĂŽn each of this countries are many, the most frequent are the poor entrepreneurship, lack of workingplaces and lack of experience ĂŽn the working field. On the other side, the unemployed people have some special conditions, and the entrepreneurship is helped with different methods: -in Croatia the gouvernment gives money for the young investors and entrepreneurs. -in Romania the gouvernment offers beneficies for the companies that hire disabilited people.
-In Latvia the government pays qualification courses for the unemployed ones. -in Spain statistics are not so credible because of temporary jobs during the season -in Bulgaria high taxis to start a business block the initiatives -in Italy is a big difference between north and south -in Greece there are subventions for unemployed people and salaries are low
KEY COMPETENCES-IMPORTANCE OF SKILLS, ATTITUDES AND KNOWLEDGE IN OUR FUTURE CAREER We spent more than one day to discuss and discover the 8 key competences defined by European Comission and we stressed attention on the ones that we develop in a youth exchange and are useful in our jobs and business career. In first workshop we discussed about key competences and which are the most suitable for our interests and then we expressed them in short plays. In second phase we show that we understand them better and made some videos that you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hlr5Oh0_pHA&fbclid=IwAR0G02KDvHQnzwFeZOIJDzaZz9uVQ7lI8wrrKdHECgBhIrNxlDhywX7G4w COMMUNICATION IN THE MOTHER TONGUE
Communication is the skill to understand and express ideas, facts and feelings. During our project we were very active with our own language. For instance, we talk with the other colleagues, write things down. Sometimes also the foreign participants asked something about words or expressions in your language, and of course some dirty words!!
COMMUNICATION IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES
Communication is the skill to understand and express ideas, facts and feelings with people who think, talk and act differently. During our project we were active and talk with each other, heard people talk and therefore learnt new words and expressions in another language. An international project is for many people a wonderful occasion to practice or learn other languages. We spoke in all workshops in English, do presentations, act, play and create business plan in English.
MATHEMATICAL COMPETENCE AND BASIC COMPETENCES INSCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
During our preparation and the exchange itself, we were busy with this skill. We made research and work with statistics, number and diagrams. To create business plans we prepared budgets and calculated financial resources.
DIGITAL COMPETENCE
Digital competences have to do with when you learn to handle the computer, how to make a presentation, or how to work with new programs. Think for example of filming and editing or using graphics programs for photos and text. Here we can also think about things like learning how to improve our understanding of how a computer or a smart phone work or how to change the settings.
LEARNING TO LEARN
Everybody learns every moment of the day. One can learn in various ways, like by talking to others, or by listening, by searching for information or by attending a workshop.
If you want to pass a test follow this link http://www.mycit.ie/contentfiles/Careers/4.%20HoneyandMumfordLearningStylesQuestionnaire.pdf
SOCIAL AND CIVIC COMPETENCES How do you behave with others? Can you cooperate? Do you ever do some-thing for someone else or for people in the neighbourhood? These are all things that have to do with this competence. If you imagine social competences in an exchange project, then you can think of how you handle people, both in the preparation as well as when you are abroad. Do you follow rules or agreements? Do you respect people or could you improve on that? Can you deal with criticism if people make comments about you? Can you express your opinion or criticism in a good way to others? Do you say nice things to people, sometimes give compliments or thank people enough for what they do for you? Are you the one who decides what happens or are you infl uenced by the opinion of others? Are you reserved and passive, are you lazy and leave the work to others? Do people have you ask you for help or do you offer help to those who need it even without being asked? What do you do to make this project a fun and unforgettable experience for yourself and for others? What is your contribution to a good environment in the project?
SENSE OF INITIATIVE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Everyone has ideas and thinks about the things that can be done in an exchange project. But are all these idea being executed? Some people burst with ideas but wait too long, or don't know what to decide.....and in the end, nothing happens. Others have fewer ideas but they take action and start working. They are motivated to reach a result and to succeed. Are YOU able to put ideas into practice? Do you have the perseverance and the creativity to carry them out, even if things seem difficult or impossible or if time is against you? To turn ideas into success, you need to know what you have to do, who you need to do it and how it has to be organized. All this has to do with entrepreneurship and initiative. It is putting ideas into action, realizing your dreams and wishes and not waiting ‘til others do it for you (or not). Many businesses grow because they have people with initiative and entrepreneurship working there
CULTURAL AWARENESS AND EXPRESSION Do you know what is typical for your culture? The competence ‘cultural awareness and expression' has to do with the way we appreciate our own and other cultures, in your town, in your region, your country, Europe, and the whole world. It also has to do with how we can express our emotions, experiences and feelings in a creative way through media or art forms. If you think about it, you will come up with some ways to develop this competence.
THIS IS MY CV What scared us and we thought will be a boring workshop(most of us wanted a job or a scholarship nd we were sure are good in preparing a CV)turned into one of the highlight of this exchange. Why? Because we got a clear introduction technically about what a CV and a cover letter are, then because we understood how to match what we write there with requests of our future employers and what competences we need for specific areas of work or business. Because we worked in international teams and could communicate between us but also between teams helping eachother in the process…and because it was learining with smile on our faces. First step – WORDS – was to create and present a CV of some chosen characters, candidates for jobs. So we become Iker Jose war reporter, Ursus - beer taster, Erasmus – translator, Ramon Abara – stripper, Stela Arabella – astronaut, Alicia Durante – graphic designer and Alex Mitev – Barbie factory secretary. Even if our “candidates” were “strange” every team concentrated on real skills and experience they needed and our posters were absolutely fantastic.
Stela Arabella, applying for an astronout postion at NASA. Stela is Bulgarian and besides her mother tongue, also is fluent in several other languages. She's a determined and energetic woman in her mid 20s. Proof of that is her Master's degree and several other licences and certifications she has already acquired at this age. She has the pysical and mental capability to work in this position because of her job as PE teacher. Her students love working with her, therefore they were the ones to help her with the CV Alicia Durante wants to become a graphic designer for Disney. She is Spanish but had a few international experiences ás Erasmus and other internships. That way, she speaks fluent English and French alongside Spanish which is her mother tongue. Also she went in different volunteering in Erasmus + projects. The design of the CV is made by her
Second step – IMAGES – was more challenging as we had to create presentation videos for each one and we realized why the project is “Images and words” and how powerful is a video for promote yourself. We discussed, found strategy, acted and editing and you can see our results here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xgj-2uhHaM&fbclid=IwAR3tJbbcYXlB9hx1TThIVJGBsJyddmX1ir91-nSyq_nFKf7i1aYperby0A
…and now it’s your turn to create your own CV but…. Before you start: Five basic principles for a good CV
1. Concentrate on the essentials • Employers generally spend less than one minute reading a CV before deciding to reject it, or to shortlist it for detailed consideration. If you fail to make the right impact, you missed your chance. • If applying for an advertised vacancy, always ensure that you comply with any application process entirely. The vacancy notice might specify: how to apply (CV, application form, online application), the length and/or format of the CV, whether a covering letter is required, etc. • Be brief: two A4 pages are usually more than enough, irrespective of your education or experience. Do not exceed three pages. If you hold a degree, include your secondary school qualifications only if relevant to the job in question. • Is your work experience limited? Describe your education and training first; highlight volunteering activities and placements or traineeships.
2. Be clear and concise • Use short sentences. Avoid clichés. Concentrate on the relevant aspects of your training and work experience. • Give specific examples. Quantify your achievements. • Update your CV as your experience develops. Don’t hesitate to remove old information if it does not add value for the position.
3. Always adapt your CV to suit the post you are applying for • Highlight your strengths according to the needs of the employer and focus on the skills that match the job. • Do not include work experience or training which is not relevant to the application. • Explain any breaks in your studies or career giving examples of any transferable skills you might have learned during your break. • Before sending your CV to an employer, check again that it corresponds to the required profile. • Do not artificially inflate your CV; if you do, you are likely to be found out at the interview.
4. Pay attention to the presentation of your CV • Present your skills and competences clearly and logically, so that your advantages stand out. • Put the most relevant information first. • Pay attention to spelling and punctuation. • Print your CV on white paper (unless you are asked to send it electronically). • Retain the suggested font and layout.
5. Check your CV once you have filled it in • Correct any spelling mistakes, and ensure the layout is clear and logical. • Have someone else re-read your CV so that you are sure the content is clear and easy to understand. Do not forget to write a cover letter !

What do we think of when we say "intercultural evening"? Intercultural evening is an activity in which the participants of each country presented their traditions and customs. During the evening we placed the tables that we decorated with the traditional ways specific to each country. Each country wore traditional costumes and the flag, telling us the history of the preparations and looking forward to being tasted. Spanish and Greeks taught us the steps of their famous “sevillana” and “sirtaki” then we listened to beautiful voices of Bulgarian girls. The teams had to prepare a short moment to promote also another culture. Romanians dressed in old greek clothes and interpreted a historical scene of Greece. from ancient times, each romanian having a role in "The Story of Ulysses". On the other hand example Greeks and Italians prepare quizzes and Bulgarians and Latvians showed some funny sketches. Everybody enjoyed every single moment.
As a result of these evenings we have accumulated many curiosities about each country and its traditions.
Buzau Fest in Monteoru
During the project, the “Buzau Fest was held, which was open for 2 days. On the first day there were battles between Dacians and Romans and from the medieval era. After that we were presented with the weapons of the soldiers of all time. It was a special place where visitors had the opportunity to learn how to handle different weapons such as swords, spears and bows.
Bracelets, chains, traditional preparations and costumes were handmade by traders. Local artists and entrepreneurs exposed their products: handcraft, cosmetics, wines, sausages and sweets and we had opportunity to taste and to discover how difficult is to have your own initiative and which are the secrets of succeeding. The second evening, we returned to listen to music and dance at the concert, as well as to have a little fun with our new friends. At the end of the show the fireworks were given and the rain started all at once, and all the people started to run through the cold drops, enjoying themselves as children.
LAND ART ... IMAGES MORE THAN WORDS Land art, earthworks (coined by Robert Smithson), or Earth art is an art movement in which landscape and the work of art are inextricably linked. It is also an art form that is created in nature, using natural materials such as soil, rock (bed rock, boulders, stones), organic media (logs, branches, leaves), and water with introduced materials such as concrete, metal, asphalt, or mineral pigments. The works frequently exist in the open, located well away from civilization, left to change and erode under natural conditions. The works remain in the nature and only photos and videos are witnesses of group work. Our land art workshop was welcome as we spent some hours in nature, in a beautiful forest and empower our creativity, team spirit and artistic skills.
"The window of life" We created a window in a tree from which you could see the forest. Also, which Was the key, from this point you could see a tree in the center. This had three types of sheets in it : green, which represented the youth and was at the bottom symbolizing the birth of life, yellow, which represented the maturity in life and were posted in the middle, and brown, which represented the wisdom and old years in life. These last were posted at the top of the tree representing the wisdom given by time, from this point all forest could be seen.
"The birth of life". It's a story of love and life. How these two characters (trees) fell in love from a distance. They couldn't be together because of distance but their love took it's on course and their roots started to come closer to each other, until finally they streched to each other and united, creating a new life. A life (symbolized by the flower in the middle) born out of pure love.
Leaves of the same forest is a circle who represents the globe splitted in 8 sections, the eight countries taking part in this project. Some of these countries have greener leaves and some of them quite died leaves. But even if any country has different traditions and habits, all are leaves of the same forest.
BUSINESS PLANS
The core of the exchange was to create in teams Business Plans based on and interests and to understand the main steps that were explained before the workshop. We used our creativity, imagination, entrepreneurial skills and sense of humour to transfer in some “images and words our ideas. Of course some of them can be considered crazy, ireal or unsustainable, but important is that we learnt how to do it and, who nows, we’ll apply new competence in reality.
Death Skull Tattoo "Tattooing is not a job, it's pure art" "So many tattoo ideas, so little skin" "I don't have a tattoo addiction, Ihave a tattoo collection" The tattoo process is a very difficult one. Not only the creationa and the ink process, but the healing itself too. It takes a lot of time for a tattoo to heal, but, even so, the results can be amazing if you get your tattoo at Deathe Skull Tattoo.
Basic informationa about tattoos... A tattoo is a form of body modification, like piercings and implants, where a designis made by simply inserting ink, dyes and pigments, either indelible ortemporary, into the dermis layer of the skin in order to change it's pigment. Tattooing involves the placement of pigment into the skin's dermis, which means not too deep, not too much in the surface in order for the tattoo to hold after the healing process, but not to damage the skin either. After initial injection of the ink, the pigment is dispersed throughout a homogenized damaged layer down through the epidermis and upper dermis, in both of which the presence of foreign material activates the immune system's phagocytes to engulf the pigment particles.
In our shop you can get any types of tattoos: - New school tattoos -Realism - Watercolor - Tribal -Neo traditional -Japanese -Blackwork -Illustrative -Chicano Style And at the same time even on each and every single part of the body: - Arm -Legs -Hands - Palms - Head - Ribbs -Abbdomen -Armpitt -Back - Neck We also create any type of tattoo models and forms, from the most classical ones to the most unexpected

Dogalize Since I was a kid, I feel that I love animals. In other words animals took the main part of my life looks like panacea. In addition, everytime I come to my house with negative feelings, I don't want to see anybody or anything while my dog came and change my feelings totally from negative to positive. People not always make me happy like dogs do, so this made me think about new idea. I found people near me who think same as me and this inspired me to start. The first step was made when I met my new mate, who studies veterinary field and volunteered about animal cares. So when I met my friend, I told him about my experience and we realized that we have a similar situation. In other words, we made a decision that we need to spread/ share our idea to others.
Moreover we started finding other people who were also interested in supporting our project. We made our dreams come true. Secondly, we started to expand our networks: We used social networks like FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc. We also used charity concerts, competitions and animal exhibitions. On the other hand, we didn't expect that so many people would support and become a member of our comunitty. That was our moment! All what we want was in our hands. We start to search a headquarter to establish our network" When we find this it was like heaven on earth.

Commercial strategy: In order to organise the event, our company will work in partnerships with other agencies who are leaders of the international event management. The main point of strength of our business is the internal composition of our staff: 5 managers coming from 5 different countries, with a lot of experience in event management. Each of us will be focused in one or two specific sectors: hospitality, concert organisation, marketing promotion, sales, public relations, advertisements, security and safe, extra activities. At first insight of our plan, the main risk could be linked with the weather condition during the festival since it will take place in open space. Regarding financial risk, the main risk might be to keep a balance between the sale of all-days package and one/two days package. A large discrepancy between the sale of the first and the second kind of package could result in a lost of money for the company. The main treat of the event is connected with logistic and management features due to the great number of participants. Our principal challenge is to create an annual event which take place in the different European young capital for that precise year. The event could present different weaknesses due to the big number of people involved in the organisation process and a lack of coordination could jeopardise the entire event. It is extremely necessary to prevent neglected situations and identify valid solutions to avoid unpredictable situations that could occur.
Marketing promotion: The event will be promoted in all the principal social networks and websites of our partners. Giant poster will be spread in all the European capital and overseas capitals as well. Classic newsletters and flyers will be employed to promote the event in the local country where the event will take place. Public relations will involve influencers, international stars and bloggers. Stars can benefit from this event to broaden their visibility and qualified bloggers and influencers can obtain free tickets to take part in the event. The marketing strategy will be created after a detailed marketing research on the field. Discounts and special promotions will be applied during festivities such as SAN Valentine Day, Christmas, Easter and so on.
Added value: The local community where the event will take place is the first direct beneficiary of the event. The event will bring several benefits to the hospitality sector of the country, affecting positively the economy of the entire country. According to our prognosticates, our customers not only will come for the festival but they will also take advantage to travel around Europe.
Funds: Our company will gather the funds needed to run the event by selling right of exclusivity to other companies who wants to sponsor our event. These companies could benefit from this event promoting and selling their products. All their banners will be exposed in the front of the different stage with an high visibility. Their logo and the name of their brand will be visible in all the material published within the event. Furthermore, the event will be broadcast in television from the main TV broadcasts and our sponsors could benefit from this. Other sources of funds will be the income gained by selling the several tickets. A small part of our funds will be gathered by the sale of merchandise.
Expenses: The main cost of this project is represented by the cachet of the several performers. The other big cost will be to employ professional audio and lighting services for the stage where the several artists will perform. Other costs are: pro-staff, security guards, engineers, travelling and accommodation costs for the several performers.

Beer Buddies It all started with a group of friends, in the small beautiful village of Sarata Monteoru. We, as beer lovers thought of how annoying is to stop the conversation and kill the buzz of every party while trying to get another drink. Honestly, the process of lining up and waiting for a bartender or a waiter takes time, makes you anxious and stops the storyline, the conversation or the joke. And this is how The Beer Buddies company was created. The best inventions come up in regular talks between friends. But we went further. We came up with this amazing machinery, using pumps to automatically refill the perfect amount of beer in your glass. Not only that but there are different types of beer, that come up with the ideal temperature and even more with the right amount of foam with zero waste of product. So from now on, none of us have to waste time during a party, or to stop a nice convo. Our mechanism is new and one of a kind and it makes work easier. Now bars can work with only one person to serve an entire pub. Maintaining our machines would be easy and cheap. But apart from all the information, owning such an invention is simply cool. Whether it’s a bar or a private party you are using the machine for-you will be the star. A star drinking amazing beer. Join us in our adventure and learn more about the Beer Buddies.

_____________________________________________________________________________________ So, that was our work for the Business Plans. We had the opportunity to share our work first to our colleagues when we have a lot of fun remembering the creation. In the last day we were invited to present our projects to the students in Economic College. That was a more serious presentation, we really believe we can follow the models to become entrepreneurs. After that two teams of students presented their own simulations of companies they did for a competition and in the end we enjoyed discussing with them.
“IMAGES” SESSIONS - WORKING ON PROMO VIDEOS
One of our tasks was to create a videoclip to promote our business plans. That was really awesome, everybody had a lot of ideas and we spent time discussing ideas, preparing scenaries, filming and editing. In the end we discovered that we have new skills and presenting them to audience was a great success. You can find them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b345pLujoRw&fbclid=IwAR0fbMgZiiYTJohTFDd6nWBlkcuxjQe4FJ6x wDwmhTUUFKYY4q78lQjL-6c
“FISH MARKET”…IS AbOuT FuTuRE cOMMON pROjEcTS Everybody was keen to find out what a fish market workshop was as organizers wanted to keep it secret. And time came: wonderful activity to valorize our ideas for future projects because we liked so much this Erasmus + experience (for most of us being first or second). Brainstorming, decision, explore the “5W” to create the features of our planning idea and then drawing and adding all information around a fish. Easy to do, easy to understand, more difficult to apply but we promise to transfer our ideas into reality. Our common interests were arts, sports, pollution, music, theater, first aid.

“IMAGES AND WORDS” was a great experience. Since the arrival to noisy aged Bucharest to all of the moments in beautiful Casa Cu Tei. However, I will never forget the evening we spent at the music festival where the atmosphere there (including beer and gluten free wine) brought us even closer. The unexpected heavy rain in the end was a deserved spectacle. Definitely the perfect way to enjoy diversity of people. ❤ Thank you – Ana(Spain)
If I have to describe this experience using just a word I think I will choose “dreaming”. The exchange in Romania within the Erasmus+ programme allows me to live an amazing dream, one of those dreams from which I would never want to wake up. I left my home country towards this youth exchange with several positive expectations and personal fears. All my expectations had been fulfilled and my fears had been washed away. I discovered cultures, customs, languages and traditions that I did not have the opportunity to discover before. It was wonderful sharing anecdotes, experiences, skills and time with guys and girls coming from all around the European Union. I was very impressed for the strong personalities present at the exchange: teenagers and young adults who were willing to participate actively at any kind of activity. Even if any of us had a different studying, cultural and personal background, I felt like I knew them for all my life. I really enjoyed all the activities promoted by the hosting organisations and by Tolea, an amazing man with a great heart. I will bring with me the wonderful memory of this exchange which, without any doubt, has added value to my cultural and personal capital. If I have just a regret, it would be not to have applied for any Erasmus+ project before this.- Vito (Italy)
“IMAGES AND WORDS” was a great project, location in Sarata Monteru was perfect, the organization was on high level.I was proud to be group leader of my precious Croatian team that had an unforgettable experience. This was my first project,i was told that first days i will feel not on place and i will be a bit uncomfortable.I left Bulgaria with the thought that probably it's going to be okay but i will want to return fast. Well, none of this happened eventually. From the very first day i liked the people so much,i loved the place and the atmosphere itself was amazing. As days were passing,i was able to connect and to talk to more and more people, playing games or throwing parties ourselves without anyone making us do it. However, the organisation was very good as well during the activities. This was an amazing project, memories and people from which i will never forget, a lot of things were learnt, but most importantly - it was a beautiful adventure! Nikoleta – (Bulgaria)
This exchange wasn’t going to happen for me if it wasn’t my brother that thought he doesn’t want to go and i was like a substitute but it turned out to be a great change of plan. The accommodation was good the food also and the waitress as well.I want to thank Tolea for hosting this beautiful project and for helping me love this kind of youth exchanges.I felt so close with a big part of the participants and now i want to see them all again. The organization was on a very high level and the program of the project as well. I’ll be looking forward for participating again in projects that are hosted by Hair Redivivus.– Nikola (Bulgaria) It was creative experience to work on videos in an international team. We shared cultures, ideas, attitudes and spend fun and productive time in general. Was amazing to explore Romania, its identity and traditions, meet local people and observe life. Thanks everyone for coming and Tolea for organising such an youth exchange. Multumesc.- Aleksandr – (Latvia)
