BANK ROBBERY
On July 15th, 2014, at approximately 4:45pm, Toledo Police received a call of a bank robbery in progress at Fifth Third Bank, 2438 Glendale Avenue. A white male approached the counter and stated, “No die packs, no alarms, hand over money now.” The suspect fled the bank without taking the money. Minutes later the same suspect attempted to rob the Rite-Aid located on Glendale Avenue. Toledo Police have identified the suspect as Thomas Swert, Jr. The suspect has a tattoo on his right arm of Grim Reaper, and tattoos on his left arm of a skeleton, a wizard, and “his pain your gain”.
