The name ‘To live. To love.’ was brought together in a small town called Needville. I grew up in there and would like to think that is where my inspiration comes from the most. I love to be outside in the open summer breeze, even in the Texas heat. My style of photography is much like how I grew up...

Wedding Sessions:

To Live. To Love. does not release any unedited or RAW files.
Engagement or Bridal Photography Session This includes a one-two hour session. You will be able to choose two different locations (travel fee maybe be included if needed). You are guaranteed at least 60 edited images on a CD. You can also bring as many outfits as you would like. A $150 deposit is due to book the date. Final payment can be paid the day of session. Note: These sessions are not included with one another. Each session must be purchased seperatly, or included in a package.

Wedding Day Coverage All three packages include photographic coverage of the wedding day, professional retouching of hundreds of your images, and a disc of all high resolution retouched images with copyright permission. Add a second photographer to your wedding covergage: $300 Flat rate per hour after 8 hours: $200 There is a travel fee of 55 cents a mile round trip.

High Resolution images- These files are what will be on the CD/flash drive.You are welcome to take them to Walgreen's, CVS, etc and print your own pictures or you can contact me for professional prints.
Photographic Prints: All prints are mattĂŠ and treated with a luster coating that protects against fingerprints and UV rays. Prints larger than 8x12 come bound to a mat board material in order to keep from wrinkling or falling down in a frame over time. This matting is included in the price of the print. This is not a mattĂŠ border, but rather a piece cut to the same size as the print and then mounted to the back for better reinforcement. All packages and services include * tax.

Sessions will be in the Houston, Texas area. Destination sessions are based on travel costs. These will include airfare and hotel for two nights.
Travel and Destination Seeing how people interact with one another, the environment and the camera. These are a few things that make this job all the more worthwhile.

It is always a delight to see how two people interact with one another, to see the love. I believe the engagement session is very important to couples because it helps me to connect with you and to learn your personalities as a couple, and as individuals. It will also help me to understand your specific needs and to better your photographic experience. I know tha being in front of a camera can be strange, but I want to make it as easy and relaxing for you and your significant other.

FAQ and ANSWERS
Do we get the high-resolution digital files? Most defiantly!! Every wedding package and portrait session come with the CD. Images are selected and edited at our discretion. Every images will be edited, only a select few will be copied and highly edited. Where will the session take place? Location is one of the most important aspects of the session. It sets the theme or feeling of the photos and provides props and variety for posing. I do not*select engagement/bridal/ portrait session locations for my clients. I feel very strongly that you should select the location so that the photos portray exactly what you had envisioned. Services such as researching locations and requesting access permission are not something that I provide. It is up to you to determine where you would like the shoot to take place and confirm that photography is allowed and no additional permission is needed. If your location requires a reservation or paid permit, it is your responsibility to arrange this ahead of time. You are welcome to tell me an idea or theme you are going for and ask for suggestions; however I cannot research specific locations other than those I have shot at before.
When should I book my session? I would try to book it at least a month or two before your set date. Depending on how booked I am, the CD can take from 1-3 weeks to finish. I don’t usually book portrait session on Saturdays. Saturdays are usually opened up to weddings:) Can I do my session indoors? I have designed my photography to be more natural light than studio. I do not shoot indoor portrait sessions. My work that you have seen is focused on natural lighting only. Newborn sessions are allowed indoors (more details in email). What should I wear to my session? Anything colors, textures, and coordinating styles are great things to keep in mind when picking them out, but most importantly make sure you are comfortable and being yourself. I am up for discussing specific ideas or themes prior to your session so we can make sure it will all work well for the shoot. I love anything vintage, unpolished, and different. How long will our session take? Sessions usually last 1-2 hours. What is a “first look”? A first look is when the bride and groom choose to see each other before the wedding. Once the bride and groom are fully dressed and ready we clear the area where they have chosen to have their first sight and send groom there. The bride enters the room shortly after and the groom can choose to turn and watch her walk towards him, or simply turn around and take his first look at his stunning bride! What is a “day after” session? A day after session is when the couple dresses back up into their wedding day outfits for a session! It doesn’t have to be the day after your wedding and I think this is the perfect alternative for couples that don’t want to see each other before their big day but natural light isn’t available after. Do you travel for weddings & sessions? Most defiantly! I love to travel and see new places for weddings and portrait sessions. If I travel outside of Needville, TX a travel may be required.
How many images do you end up with? For wedding day coverage A second shooter can be added to get more effective and a variety of shots. For sessions we average 60-80 photos. How do I book my date for weddings & sessions? For weddings I require 1,000 retainer along with your contract to book the date. The remaining balance can be paid monthly as long as the total is due a month prior to the wedding date. Dates are reserved on a firstcome, first-serve basis upon receipt of a contract and deposit. For sessions I require a $150 non-refundable retainer and signed contract to book the date. The balance must be paid at the time of the session by check or cash. What if I need to cancel? The wedding date retainer or amount paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel your session the $150 retainer will need to be paid again. To live, To Love has the right to cancel or reschedule any session.
