Enter Nurotech who promise to cure the Unbred but kidnap Kincaid to do something else - genetically compel people to consume goods and services they neither need nor want through a new science known as Geneconimics. Maxwell Rawls, the last of an elite unit of Unbred soldiers, knows what truly awaits them. Nurotech experimented on his unit, turning them into cannibals as their metabolism accelerated beyond the limits of man or Unbred.
