Instead of thinking of how many years we have to live – we want to find ways to make our years vital and active. We’re moving from a medical model – treat the conditions of aging in a reactive way with prescription drugs and rehabilitation to a proactive wellness model. Learn how to combat the effects of aging through targeted exercise designed for Boomers (age 50+). Downsizing for Retirement: Do you ever feel overwhelmed by stuff? Need help uncluttering? This session will help you decide what to keep and what to get rid of, as well as how to organize the things you do keep. Learn how to enjoy your home more by creating clear, uncluttered spaces that stay that way! FITNESS CLASSES Payment deadline is Jan 25th for February. Payments received after deadline, have an additional $10 fee. Minimum number of participants paid by deadline is needed to run the class. Drop in rate is $10. Group Resistance Training, Monday, Wednesday & Fridays, 7:30-8:30am. A challenging workout using a sequence of integrated exercises to build stronger muscles, core and bone strength, and balance. Bring a fitness ball, yoga mat (waffled on both sides) and water. $45/month if paid by 1/25. Low Impact Cardio & Toning, Wednesdays, 10-11am. Each routine combines cardio vascular and toning exercises to pre choreographed music that will target specific muscle groups. Lightweight toning sticks will be provided along with modifications. $20pp. Tai Chi & Qigong, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9-10am. Improve health and prevent illness w/ this self-paced system of exercises. $40/month if paid by if paid by 1/25. Total Body Fitness, Mondays & Wednesdays, 8:45-9:45am. This class combines low impact aerobic moves with the latest toning exercises then finishes with a full body stretch. The film tells the story of two young men, one Israeli and one Palestinian, that discover they were accidentally switched at birth and raised by each other's families. Everyone is welcome. The over 300 Veterans in The Pinehills community understand the need to help their fellow Veterans. The Commemoration at Memorial Hall was a long overdue thank you and welcome home to our Plymouth Vietnam Veterans. The help made the commemoration a most memorable tribute. A special thank
