Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) is a volunteer organization that helps residents of The Pinehills transition to and live well in the community. PROGRAMMING MOVING FORWARD AFTER LOSS A Social Support Program 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 4-5:30pm Conference Room Take comfort in the camaraderie of laughter and listening with others who have experienced loss through death or divorce.

THE AGONY & ECSTASY OF DE-CLUTTERING Wednesday, March 16, 7-8:30pm at The Stonebridge Club

Look around. Are there things you should say goodbye to, but have been slow to let go? Janet La Berge, owner of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, will guide you through the process of letting go of belongings. Rather than approaching the task as reducing clutter, Janet will show you how to “pay it forward” by focusing on redistributing everything to recyclable household waste. The items you say “goodbye” to will be received in her Good Deeds thrift shop at 209 Water Street, Pembroke. Sale of items you donate cover the costs of running the store and provide funds that are given to local charities in her “Give Back” Program. $5 Fee Payable to PHLOA due Wednesday, March 9th.

SWING INTO SPRING: N2N FITNESS CHALLENGE Get up, get out, get moving. Register between March 1st-25th Neighbor to Neighbor invites you to join friends and neighbors in the spring N2N Fitness Challenge, a six week program designed to help you get up, get out and get moving! The Challenge starts with an April 7th orientation where you will meet your teams and select leads. The core of the program is daily exercise tracking and reporting totals once a week to your team lead. You can participate in group walks and other activities to help you meet your exercise goals or you can exercise on your own schedule, or anything in between. How you achieve your goals is up to you. Whatever your current level of activity, this program will motivate you to set a personal fitness goal, and make progress toward it. And since you'll be doing it with a group of equally motivated people you'll have fun and make new friends in the process. As part of the program, you'll receive a digital pedometer to record your activity, and each team's weekly exercise totals will be posted via email for all participants to share. This program is open to all Pinehills residents but limited to 40 participants. Complete a registration form at the Stonebridge Club. $30 fee payable to PHLOA. (note N2N Fitness Challenge on check) For more information contact Linda Lancaster (healthcoachpam@icloud.com, 508-224-0760).
