Windgate Ranch Swim Team is a competitive swim team that helps build stroke development, strength, and endurance, in a structured but fun and rewarding environment. Your child will learn the dynamics of competing by attending training sessions and recreational swim meets with other neighborhood teams. Swim meets are scheduled on Saturdays. Mommy and Me Play Date Birth – Preschool Age Fridays 9:00am – Main Playground
Connect with other Windgate mothers (or caregivers) who have children – birth through pre-school age for a weekly play date. There are a lot of young children in our community and this is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, watch your children interact and play with other children in the community, and foster lifelong friendships. No RSVP needed, just show up!
Independence Day Celebration Sunday, July 3 6:00pm - 8:00pm – Poolside
BBQ dinner will be catered by Famous Daves BBQ and include brisket, chicken, mac n cheese, beans and Kahula brownies with hot fudge sauce for dessert. There will be water slides for the kids. We will also have live entertainment. Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Please purchase wristbands in The Club by 6/28. After 6/28 you must RSVP via email to renee.hall@fsresidential.com and the wristbands will be sold at the event for $25 for adults and $20 for kids. BYOB if you wish – no glass please.
Neighborhood Play Date @ the Park

A Windgate child came up with this idea – let’s meet in the park, bring games, and get to know each other. We will schedule this on the 2nd Saturday of the month and if there is enough interest for more dates, we will schedule accordingly. No RSVP needed, just show up!
Kids Summer Camp with Hub Sports
Boys and Girls Ages 4-12 Monday - Friday, July 11–15, July 18-22 & July 25-29, 8:30am - 12:30pm or 3:00pm Bandstand Event Lawn/Pool Hosted by the professional Hub Sports, the camp will provide your child with an incredible experience. The camp is designed to combine traditional sports, innovative team games, leadership activities, crafts and fun with water. Cost of camp is $135 for 1/2 day camp, $180 for full day camp. Daily drop ins available too. Please have kids bring the following: snacks and lunch, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, tennis shoes and plenty to drink Registration forms are available at The Club. It’s time for our annual Back to School Bash and this year’s beach theme will be a blast. We will have water slides, water inflatables that will be raffled off, crafts, DJ, glitter tattoos, Italian Ice, Spinatos Pizza, watermelon and drinks. Cost is $13 per person – for both children and adults. Please purchase wristbands in The Club by 8/9. This is a pool party you won’t want to miss. Prices go up by $5 a wristband if RSVP is after 8/9.

MONTHLY CLASSES Men’s and Women’s Fitness Boot Camp
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 5:45am - 6:45am and/or 9:00am - 10:00am Bandstand Event Lawn You are invited to join this Boot Camp class offered by Giant Strides Fitness of Scottsdale! The classes are designed for total body conditioning, and include strength and body toning exercises using resistance bands, jump ropes, and medicine balls. You may join in the classes at any time. Fee is $75 for 10 sessions. Giant Strides Fitness also offers a monthly hiking group for beginners and experienced hikers. What is Pilates? The Pilates Method of Body Conditioning is a system of exercises that focus on the “Powerhouse.” These deep postural muscles of the body—mainly the abdominals, buttocks, hips and inner thighs—strengthen and lengthen the body. While strengthening the core stability muscles, Pilates works towards re-aligning the spine to its optimum position. Focusing on this proper form and alignment while strengthening the core stability muscles through movement is what Pilates is all about.
