Join your neighbors for the Annual Windgate Ranch 10K and/or 5K Turkey Trot! PARTICIPANTS: Everyone participating must sign up through fitvil and sign the waiver. Just create a diferent user name for each person, email and phone numbers can all be the same. Good news: If you participated last year, you are already signed up for 2015! You will need to sign a 2015 waiver in person when you pick up your bib.

2015 Holiday Card Contest We need your help designing the Windgate Ranch Annual Holiday Card. Use your creativity to design a masterpiece that captures the true spirit of the Holidays at Windgate Ranch! A special design that portrays a “Windgate Ranch” theme. One entry will be selected and will be featured on the front of this year’s 2015 Holiday Card. **The winner will receive a $100 Gift Card plus 20 cards for their personal use** All entries will be on display at The Club and The Sales Office until December 11, 2015
C ontest Rules:
1. Children under 14 are eligible to participate. 2. Artwork must be submitted on official entry form (available at The Club). 3. All artwork must be original, in color and suitable for reproduction. 4. All entries must be turned into The Club by Monday, November 23rd. 5. The winning entry will be selected, Tuesday, November 24th and the winner will be notified then. 6. The winner will receive a $100 gift card and a supply of 20 cards for their personal use. 7. All entries become the property of Windgate Ranch. 8. Multiple entries accepted - maximum of 3 per participant. 9. All entries must include: Name, Age, Address, Phone, Parent or Guardian signature.

Birth – Preschool Age Fridays, 9:00am, Main Playground Connect with other Windgate mothers (or caregivers) who have children – birth through pre-school age for a weekly play date. There are a lot of young children in our community and this is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, watch your children interact and play with other children in the community, and foster lifelong friendships. No RSVP needed, just show up!

You may choose to sell items in your own driveways or with neighbors in a common area within your neighborhood. We will advertise Friday and Saturday in the AZ Republic, on Craigslist
and put directionals up outside of the neighborhood directing traffic to the community. We will provide shoppers with maps to all participating houses. You may put up directionals to your location within the community. To participate, please email Renee at renee.hall@fsresidential.com by 11/10.

Puber-Tea Class
Mothers and Daughters 8-10 Years Old Saturday, November 14 9:00am – 11:00am, Teen Center An engaging 2 hour course which covers the basic physical and emotional changes that are associated with the onset of puberty. This course helps young girls feel more confident and prepared for this next stage of development. “Puber-Tea” creates a bond between mothers and daughters, making the transition into adolescence much easier for both. Mothers and daughters attend the class together as a couple, fostering enhanced communication regarding changes associated with puberty. The class is designed to be interactive and fun and ensures that both mother and daughter are receiving the same information. Mothers feel more comfortable and prepared for future conversations; daughters are given the tools they need to feel ready to move forward. The fee for one other daughter couple is $65, two daughters and mother is $95. Poker Night

The night will include 2 back to back $10 buy-in tournament games, (about an hour each), then cash games. $40 total should cover your play for the evening. Annual Turkey Trot 10K
Thursday, November 26 7:00am – Meet at Clubhouse
Run, walk or ride your bike within the gates of Windgate Ranch. We will depart at 7:00am sharp Thanksgiving morning. The run will be mapped out for you. MONTHLY CLASSES Men’s and Women’s Fitness Boot Camp
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 5:45am – 6:45am and/or 9:00am – 10:00am Bandstand Event Lawn You are invited to join this Boot Camp class offered by Giant Strides Fitness of Scottsdale! The classes are designed for total body conditioning, and include strength and body toning exercises using resistance bands, jump ropes, and medicine balls. You may join in the classes at any time. Fee is $75 for 10 sessions. Giant Strides Fitness also offers a monthly hiking group for beginners and experienced hikers. Boot Camp is a unique program because it will be tailored to your specific strengths and abilities. It’s never too late to begin a Giant Strides fitness program! The goal of the program is to promote having fun while developing the child’s gross motor skills, increasing self esteem, and encouraging group social skills. Participants should wear t-shirts, shorts, sneakers and wear shinguards for safety. In addition, they should also bring a size 3 soccer ball and plenty to drink. $129 Per child. The goal of the program is to develop the child’s soccer technique and skills through structured activities and games. Emphasis is placed on developing games from 1v1’s. 2v2’s and development into 3v3 and 4v4 games. Participants should wear t-shirts, shorts, sneakers and wear shinguards for safety. Monday “Tennis Camp” is an opportunity for your child, ages 7+ to get exercise, meet friends and learn to play tennis in a fun setting. Each class on Monday will focus on one or more of the fundamental strokes of tennis: forehand, backhand, volley, serve and overhead while mixing in games and drills designed to increase agility, balance and coordination. As skills develop, we build and expand on fundamental stroke development while introducing scoring and strategy designed to enhance their athletic performance. Beginners to Intermediate players are welcome. Children may be grouped according to age and skill level when appropriate.
