He was born on 31st May 1943 at Burripalem, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh to Ghattamaneni Ragavaiah Chowdary and Ghattamaneni Nagarathnamma. He is one of the leading actors of Tollywood during 70’s and 80’s and received appreciations for his performances from all genres of audiences. He directed and produced number of super hit movie under his production house Padmalaya Film Studios. He made his first Telugu debut with ‘Tene Manasulu’ in 1965, the first social movie in Telugu. He introduced Cinema Scope technology through his movie ‘Alluri Seetharama Raju’, DTS technology through ‘Veera Levara’, First Scope Technovision Technology through ‘Sakshi’ and Fist ORW Technology through ‘Gooduputhani’ movie . His movie ‘Simhasanam’ is the first 70MM Stereophonic sound movie in TFI and it was the most expensive movie in our industry at that time. Krishna is the first James Bond of Telugu Cinema and he is one of Telugu actor to celebrate a silver Jubilee at the age of 55. Krishna is the first cowboy on Indian screen and his movie Mosagallaku Mosagadu was almost dubbed into every Indian Language and in English also. Generally movie lovers go gaga if their favourite actor acted 2-3 movies in a year but he is the person who delivered 18 movies in year of 1972 which is still a record and will not be broken in Telugu film industry. He has made the record of pairing up with same actress for more than 48 films with Vijaya Nirmala and 47 movies with Jayaprada. He announced his retirement from the movies and entered in the politics at the age of 69. He received most prestigious award Padama Bhushan in 2009. n the occasion of State Formation day, The Telangana government has decided to celebrate it on 2nd June in a very grand manner and decided to unfurl the National flag at the Bethukamma Ghat of Hussain Sagar Lake, Hyderabad. He asked the chief secretary to make the proper arrangements. CM wants to unfurl the tallest National flag. He asked to arrange 301 feet height, National flag as he kept in mind that there is 293 feet height National flag at Ranchi. Telangana CM KCR will lay the foundation stone for Telangana Martyrs’s Memorial near Hussain Sagar on that day. KCR conducted a meeting to review the arrangements for the Formation day Celebrations. The meeting was attended by Mission Bhagiratha Vice-Chairman Prashant Reddy, MLC Bhanu Prakash, Chief Secretary Dr. Rajiv Sharma, MP Balka Suman and others. KCR said that the celebration would be held in Hyderabad and Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi in a very grand manner. He also said that a big memorial would be constructed for Telangana martyrs as the mark of their sacrifices.

ndhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu’s hunger for self publicity through welfare schemes has received unanticipated shock from senior Kapu leaders. The Andhra Pradesh government decided to build five Kapu Bhavans in five different districts across the state. Naidu and his MLA Bonda Uma were planning of naming those building as Chandranna Kapu Sangham Bhavan. But the plan has not worked well when Kapu said that they did not want a Kamma leader’s tag. The government has released another order to attach the name of CM Naidu to eight welfare schemes including Chandranna Kapu Nidhi and Chandranna Kapu Bhavan. The Kapus want welfare schemes meant for them to bear the name of their own veterans and not someone from other castes. Naidu belongs to the Kamma community. Congress leader Lingamsetti Eswara Rao requested the government to consider the name of freedom fighter from the Palnadu region of Guntur district, Kanneganti Hanumanth, for the Kapu Samkshema Bhavan. Several Kapu Leaders met Chandrababu Naidu and expressed their dissent over this move and they suggested Naidu to name Kapu Bhavans and welfare schemes after the Kapu Leaders who fought for the community’s development.

uperstar Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata are busy in the development program of their adapted village Siddapur in Mahabubnagar district and Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh which are adapted by Mahesh under the 'Smart Village - Smart Ward' programme launched by the Andhra Pradesh government. Recently Namrata met Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and discussed about the development plan of adopted Siddapur Village which was adopted by Mahesh on the request of TS Minister KTR. Namrata requested help for the betterment of health and education sectors as she wants to make it smart village. The meeting was held in the presence of Mahabubnagar district collector Sridevi. Jupally Krishna Rao promised to provide all the facilities which are required for the development of Siddapur village. Recently Namrata visited to Siddapur village, interacted with villagers and also participated in ‘Heal A Child Medical’ program, a medical camp for the Children below 14 years.

The group of Prakasam District Addanki MLA Gottipati Ravi Kumar who joined the TDP from YSRCP recently clashed with the group of senior leader Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy inside the venue hall. The activist of both the sides became agitated and started shouting on each other. Police which were present there for security purpose separated them and tried to control. Both parties brought many supports to showcase their strength. Many activists from the villages in Addanki and Parchuru area were brought by Gottipati group as it was the first major meeting of Gottipati Ravi Kumar which he was going to attend after leaving YSR Congress Party. Karanam Balaramakrishna and his group had been opposing the entry of Ravi Kumar in Telugu Desam Party from the beginning. Earlier the name of Vivek Oberoi was also heard but now internal sources says that makers are very impressed with the work of Jagapathi Babu and planning to approach him. The official confirmation is yet to be made. If everything will go accordingly then Jagapathi Babu will lock horns with Chiru in this upcoming action and romantic drama. The upcoming drama is remake of Kollywood hit movie “Kaththi” starring Vijay. VV Vinayak is going to helm this megaphone. The pre production work has been already started and regular shoot of the movie will be started from July. According to the latest update, Currently Adivi Sesh is in Denmark and his visit is related to Baahubali. It is heard that SS Rajamouli, the director of Baahubali called him in Denmark. Earlier she replaced actress Anisha Amborse and shared the screen space with Pawan Kalayn for the action and romantic entertainer drama “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” under the direction of Bobby and before release it created much hype but on its opening day it was rejected by the audiences. In her recently release family entertainer movie ‘Brahmotsavam’ starring Mahesh Babu, Pranitha and Samantha, one
again she received the tag of flop. Even she has given lip lock scene in the movie but her glamour also became fail to drag the attention of audiences. Both the movies had done superb pre release business, created much hypes as their teaser, posters and audios received thumbing responses and both received negative remarks on its opening day. Earlier Mahesh’s fans were confident that Brahmotsavam will dominate on Sardaar Gabbar Singh but Mahesh Babu became fail to crush the record of Pawan Kalayan as Brahmotsavam earned $545K whereas Sardaar Gabbar Singh collected $616K from its premier shows in USA.
