As a founding member and a long-term official of The Slovak Falconers Club, I have gathered enough experience to compose the specialised monography ˝FALCONRY˝ into separate parts (Part 1: Past and Present, Part 2: Our Raptors and Owls). Both books have been successful not only in Slovakia, but abroad, as well. I have listened to the requests of multiple falconers around the world and prepared an adapted English version of part 1. However, while composing my book I realised that I must expand upon my original plan and focus also on the present, represented mainly by the IAF conferences and world falconry festivals, not just the past. Because of this, my book has grown in the number of pages and illustrations by about one third. The English, full-colour, richly illustrated 320-page monograph, FALCONRY Past and Present (SOKOLIARSTVO – Minulosť a súčasnosť), includes 1,029 photographs and illustrations (see table of contents), A4 format, hardback. The price of the book is € 39 plus shipping costs. Other currencies will be calculated ad the daily exchange rate of the National Bank of Slovakia into EUR.
