APRIL

Rock The Block Run

Center Grove High School is the location for this 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk (family-friendly), and free Kids Run. The event includes scenic courses, food, music, vendors, awards and giveaways. Proceeds benefit organizations serving youth and families in Johnson County.

DEATH & TAXES DAY

On Baldwin Street in the heart of Bargersville, and created by Bargersville’s own Taxman Brewing Company, Death & Taxes Day is a beer release and tasting festival featuring 45+ Indiana-proud breweries, live music, food trucks, and good times.

Spring Social Block Party

Hosted by Planetary Brewing and Restore Old Town Greenwood, this all-ages block party features food, music, beverages, and sweet treats. Madison Ave., just north of Main St. is blocked off for this multi-hour evening event.

MAY. JUNE, JULY & AUGUST

FARMER’S MARKETS

Greenwood, Bargersville, Franklin and Whiteland feature farm fresh produce and other unique, homemade items at their weekly Farmer’s Markets.

Summer Concerts

City of Greenwood, City of Franklin, Mallow Run Winery and Greenwood Park Mall each feature a summer-long line-up of family-friendly outdoor concerts.

Strawberries On The Square

Downtown Franklin is the location for this beloved annual event celebrating the arrival of strawberry season. Strawberry shortcakes are served from 11a.m. until sold out. This festival also features food and entertainment all day as well as a classic car cruise-in.

Freedom Festival

As Greenwood’s marquee community event, Freedom Festival draws over 50,000 people to Craig Park to celebrate America’s freedom. Held on the last Saturday in June, the festivities include a parade, local food and beer, and concludes with a captivating fireworks show.

Johnson County Fair

Johnson County Fairgrounds is the site for this nearly week-long, annual fair featuring 4-H exhibits, food, music, an exciting midway of rides and games, and so much more.

Wammfest

Craig Park is the location of this annual summer festival celebrating Wine, Art, Music, and Microbrew.

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER

Harvest Moon Fall Festival

Bargersville’s annual Harvest Moon Fall Festival is a day-long event featuring a parade, live music, and fun for the whole family.

Kelsay Farms Fall Fun Weekends

September 29th through October, legendary Kelsay Farms celebrates fall with hayrides, farm animals, pumpkins, corn maze, and more.

GREENWOOD’S MONSTER MASH

Grab your costumes and head to Craig Park for Greenwood Parks annual Halloween party. Enjoy Trick-orTreating, hay rides, music, dancing, and food.

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER

Downtown Franklin Holiday Open House

More than 40 downtown Franklin retailers, restaurants and businesses will roll out the holiday red carpet for visitors. Special prices, super prizes, and holiday cheer await you as you stroll the shops.

Santa Train And Christmas Market

Magic fills the air as Santa arrives by train in Bargersville. Get your picture with Santa and stroll the Christmas Market featuring craft vendors and bakers.

Kid City Christmas

Enjoy a train ride through the Lighted Trail and get a selfie with Santa at Greenwood Community Center. Enjoy hot cocoa, popcorn and make a special holiday craft.
