Fit Chicks is committed to serving a diverse clientele with its unique approach to nutrition and fitness. The studio, located at 11720 Olio road, fosters a sense of meaningful community with safety as a main priority. Offering both in-person and Fit Chicks Live virtual sessions, the studio creates a space where women can feel in control. Hundreds of women have been helped by Fit Chicks’ coaches and staff with eating plans and tailored workout programs.
“My goal is to help women of all ages and backgrounds to realize their dream of being healthy and happy,” says owner Roz Harris. “I know how tough it is to feel confident and in control. It can be demoralizing to go to the gym and it’s hard to get a diet right. If they do push through those hurdles and figure out a workout plan and diet, they often feel anonymous. The fun goes out of their program quickly.
“At Fit Chicks women are seen for who they are,” Harris adds. “They get individual help needed for fitness and diet and have fun while doing it! It’s a space where a 13-yearold can learn to feel confident with her body, as well as where a 74-year-old woman can be celebrated for achieving a full-body plank. We know our members.”
When the COVID-19 crisis hit, Fit Chicks closed the doors. By April 1, their virtual program, Fit Chicks LIVE, was up and running. It proved to be the answer for women who had been trying random online gyms, fitness apps and diet programs. Being another nameless person logging into an online program isn’t very inspiring and it ceases to be an enjoyable experience. By contrast, Fit Chicks LIVE is in real-time and actual personal trainers watch and monitor participants while they work out.
Now re-opened, members of Fit Chicks have the flexibility of either making a reservation for studio sessions, or getting online for the actual class. An online client has interaction with everyone, including the trainer who can correct their form. Each personal training and cardio session is capped at just four women!
Since reopening, the studio goes above and beyond safety measures it already had in place.

Harris has a challenge to consider.
