Foster Park is the center for many activities through out the year. The Kokomo Pavilion, which hosts numerous concerts and fairs is located in the park as well. Along the park, there are several paved paths to walk or bike ride. You can also spend some time on the tennis courts and for the children, a playground.

Highland park has several playgrounds for children, pavilions for gatherings, and trails to walk on. The park is also home to “Old Ben” (The world’s largest steer), the giant Sycamore Stump, the Vermont Covered Bridge, and the Kokomo Creek. 765-236-0251

This orchestra delivers world class performances! Their season line-ups include full symphony performances, small chamber and intimate performances. For the past four decades, they have been enhancing the cultural climate of Kokomo with their musical programs that are educational and entertaining.

This local farmers market offers locally grown produce, hands made artisan products and specialty goods. Occasionally there will be live music, kid’s activities and several kinds of food demonstrations. JACKSON MORROW PARK

Jackson Morrow Park is the largest park in Kokomo. At 100 acres, the park features the Kirkendall Interpretive Nature Center, Kokomo Pipeline Skate Park, walking paths and picnic shelters.

SIBERLING MANSION & HOWARD COUNTY MUSEUM

For 100 years, the Siberling Mansion has been a residence, university and a now restored historic landmark. Inside you can find late-Victorian architecture and multiple exhibits throughout, highlighting the history of Howard County. Admissions: $10 for adults, and $5 for students 18 and under.

ELWOOD HAYNES MUSEUM

1915 South Webster Street 765-456-7500 Open Tuesday- Saturday, 11a.m.-4p.m. Come and visit the Elwood Haynes Museum, where “America’s First Car” was created. You can also dins a collection of his possessions, inventions and revolving exhibit of Haynes automobiles in the garage.

CITY OF FIRSTS ADVENTURE PARK

The City of Firsts Adventure Park is an arcade along with outdoor games. Inside the arcade are different kinds of games that all ages can enjoy. Outside you can play a game of miniature golf, use the batting cages and take a lap around on the go-karts. Due to the facility being primarily outdoors, the hours of operation are weather dependent and is open seasonally.

Open seasonally starting around Memorial Day, Kokomo Beach is a great place to spend some time with friends and family. Kokomo Beach offers a leisure pool, water slides, kiddie slides, lazy river, slide tower, bathhouse, family changing rooms, concessions, high-energy water slides, and a kid’s splash pad.

The Artworks Gallery is a free art gallery that is in relation of the Kokomo Art Association, where local artists display their work. You can find paintings in every medium, photography, woodcraft, handpainted porcelain and hand-thrown pottery. All items on display are available to be purchased if you find one that you like!

Kokomo Opalescent Glass is America’s oldest art glass company and has been producing the highest quality art glass at its original location since 1888. Witness hand-ladled and rolled art glass from a 2,500 degree furnace and watch glass demonstrations. Public factory tours are given at 10am Monday-Friday for $6. The gift shop is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-1pm.

The Zone is a great place to play tactical laser tag and have a foam dart war in a Nerf arena. The facility also offers waleyball, basketball, team practice space, party packages, and team building. The tactical laser tag has a minimum of 6 players to reserve, ages 10 years and up.
