Motherplucker Guitars is a name as unique as the guitars bearing their logo and luthiers Keith and Doug Felker have been hard at work on these eccentric pieces of art for over 10 years. However, they outgrew their basement workshop and decided it was time for something with more space for their growing needs.

Now, they’ve moved into a warehouse in Middletown and made it their home. e space, located at 500 N. English Station Rd, houses a large workshop in the back, and retail area up front for customers to come see the current models for sale, design their custom build, or drop o repairs.

e company o ers various production models, ranging from classic, to avant garde, along with a fully customizable experience for the customer to make the build their own.

Don’t like the stock options? Allow the luthiers to work with you to design the perfect guitar to suit your wildest dreams. Build time for a custom guitar varies, but generally takes four to six months, depending on materials needed.

If you don’t want to wait for a build, stop by and take a look at the in stock options, proudly on display at the shop and ready to hit the stage.

A Memorial Day Event held at the Forum at Brookside in Middletown with a theme of “Be A Strong Warrior” was a big hit. Lieutenant Colonel Timothy Starke was the guest speaker. A hundred and fifty attended to celebrate the 50 men and women from all branches of the military that are a part of the Forum community. After the National Anthem, gifts were given to each Veteran and there was a special ceremonial cake cutting with two Civil War swords.
