Haiti and its people have a warm place in Kramer’s heart, especially after spending six years as a missionary there in the 1990s. In fact, he met his wife Stephanie there. “Haiti has been through a lot in the last 200 years,” Kramer says. “Yet God really has a plan of redemption for Haiti. The evangelical church is growing, and yet there’s still a lot of darkness and suffering, but the Haitian people are just really beautiful people on the inside. They just sort of shine. It’s neat to get to know the Haitian people and invest in them.”

The Kramers and their five children, who range in age from 7 to 17, will fly down for a three-and-a-half-year term, and they will travel with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF).
Nappanee, believe their life purpose lies in having a relationship with the God of the Bible, and in ministering to other people’s needs - a lifestyle that brings them much joy. Soon, they will be changing their focus and location. For the next several years, they will be missionaries in Haiti.
