FAMOUS
In this weeks edition we have none other than Rebecca Doherty, the starlett whos taking the UK by storm. We sat down with her this week to grill her with the questions that really matter!
WP Hi Rebecca, welcome to Famous. R Hi there, Thankyou for having me. WP How are you finding life in the spotlight? it seems to have happened so quickly for you. R
Yeah it really has, but i’m loving every minute of it. My life has completely changed, I never thought i’d be giving interviews to Wallpaper Magazine this time last year. It’s so wierd.
WP Can we have an autograph? I’m sure you’ve already been asked that by some of our staff! R Haha yeah sure, here you go. WP Thanks Bex, can we call you Bex? R Sure thing. WP So, lets get the important ones out of the way. Custard Cream or Bourbon? R Haha! Thats a tricky one but I think it’s got to be Custard Creams! WP Good choice. Cats or Dogs? R Dogs. I have the cutest little doggy called Sapphire, plus i’m allergic to cats unfortunately. WP Oh dear, are you allergic to anything else? R Not that I know of haha! WP So tell us, what do you do when you’re not walking on red carpets and modelling in magazines? R I love spending time with my family and friends. I still do all the things I used to do. I’ll never forget where i come from. WP How do you manage to fit everything in? R
I’ve got a pretty hectic schedule, but i’m pretty organised so I always make sure I can fit everyone and everything in. Some weeks i’m busier than others, I dont get much time off but i love what I do so im not complaining haha!
WP Organised you say? Are you one of these people that alphabetically arranges their DVDS and books? Photography by Tom Doherty
R
What a fantastic idea! haha! I’m organised, but thats taking it a little too far I think! I just hate mess, it drives me crazy!
WP What would you do if you had fifteen minutes left to live? R
I’d spend it with my family and friends, they’re the most important thing to me. I wouldnt be where I am today without them, so I couldnt think of a better way to spend my last fifteen minutes.
WP Who as been the most influential person in your life? R
I think it has to be my mum, she always believed in me, and gave me the opportunity to achieve all the things I have. She’s definately been the most influential person.
WP If you had the chance to meet anyone, who would it be? R Anyone at all? WP Yeah R
Probably my grandad, I was so young when he passed away that I cant really remember him. I would love to speak to him and thank him for taking care of me as a baby.
WP If you could work with anyone at all, who would it be? R Robert Pattison! WP Ah I see, you’re member of Team Edward then? R Yeah... Totally sexy! WP Have you considered a career in movies? I’m sure you’d make a brilliant actress! R Yeah i’ve thought about it loads, it’s the next step for me and its definately something i’d love to get into. WP You’re a fashion icon here in the UK. I’m sure people would love to know how you found your style, and who are your fashion influences? R
Well I never set out to be a fashion icon, its just something that comes with being famous I guess. I just wear stuff that I like, i’m really intro vintage and retro, i’m not sure if there is any person specifically that i’m really influenced by. I suppose im just like every girl, if i see something I like i’ll get it!
WP What do you think you’d be doing if you weren’t famous? R
Well, I was studying Physics, Maths, Art and Graphic Design at school, and always wanted to be an Architect or Engineer so i guess i’d probably be doing that. I’m a creative person, i love to draw and make things.

Sexy’ ‘
yeah...totally
WP What music are you listening to at the moment? Whos your favourite artist? R
Oh thats too hard! I like loads of music, I dont think I have one artist that I like more than another. I mostly listen to songs I can dance to, I really like Maroon 5, they’re cool.
WP Ever considered getting into the music business yourself? We heard you’ve got a great singing voice. R
It would be amazing to make my own album, maybe one day i’ll do it. I’ve had some interest from some record labels, but i’m just waiting until it feels right for me to do it.
WP Watch this space then? R Definately! WP I’m sure all our male readers would love to know, do you have that special someone in your life? R Haha, yeah I do. His name is Phil and we have been together 2 1/2 years. WP I’m sure you’ve just broken a lot of hearts! R Stop being silly! Haha. WP If you could change one thing about yourself or your career, what would it be? R
It would probably be getting to where I am now, but a year or two earlier. Then i’d have more experience and stop doing such embarassing things! Haha.
WP What is the most embarassing thing you’ve ever done? R
I fall over all the time, in really inappropriate places. I once fell over whilst walking up the steps to recieve an award, in front of hundreds of people - That was pretty embarassing!
WP Oh dear, yes thats pretty embarassing. Whats the most exciting thing you’ve ever done? Or would like to do? R Im not sure really, ive done plenty of exciting things. I would love to see more of the world though. There is so many places i’d love to visit, and so many things i’d like to do. I really want to go on an African Safari, that would be amazing. WP Thats the end of the questions, than kyou for coming in and telling us all these wonderful things about you. R Thanks for having me, its been really fun. WP Best of luck in all your future endevours, and keep going your thing.
