This year, the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury® team collaborated with Censuswide, the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, Wealth-X, Barton Consultancy and Matt Britton Ventures, LLC to provide insights into wealth, real estate, property investment, luxury spending preferences and emerging trends in technology. They uncovered six trends that are expected to dominatetheluxury real estatelandscapeand drivepurchasedecisionsthisyear.
Many of thesetrendsoffer an optimistic outlook for high-end buyingand sellingin 2024. Thisismost notably captured in thevery first trend, which found that in thelast quarter of 2023 salesincreased by 4.2% for luxury single-family homesand 14.2% for luxury attached properties compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, while new listings increased by 14.2% for luxury single-family homesand 7.2%for luxury attached propertiesduringthesameperiod.
