Trussell Trust
Polaris and IG Design Group UK has a long - term partnership with the Trussell Trust, supporting the Trusts mission to end hunger and poverty in the UK.
The Trussell Trust support a nationwide network of 1200 food banks and provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty and campaign change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty - including 4.5 million children. The charity is seeing a level of fear in people that they have not seen before, in that, literally they do not know what they are re going to do to try and pay the bills and feed families. The trust has launched their first ever Emergency Fund Appeal, to help meet the increased need and keep food banks going this winter.
This is the fourth year of raising money through the sales of our Tom Smith products to support the Trussell trust and it is very pleasing to be able to support the charity with an extra contribution this year, especially when the charity are facing there most challenging year yet.
For the first time ever, food banks are giving out more food than is being donated, this is an emergency!
To date we have raised over £210,000 through the sale of Tom Smith Crackers and UK cards.

We have developed a framework to help shape our approach to sustainability to enable us to demonstrate, monitor and improve our performance to drive our business forward sustainably.
Our approach is underpinned by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 17 goals, along with the 169 targets that underpin them, were reviewed to identify those areas which Design Group can maximise our positive contribution.
We believe we have a responsibility to protect and preserve our planet and its environment. We have the ambition to reduce our impact on our surroundings to promote the well being of our planet for future generations.

Hand hygiene is a vital measure to stop the spread of bacteria and illness. This exclusive EN certified range offers you the choice of Foam Soap, Antibacterial Liquid Soap and Alcohol Gel in a variation of sizes and formats suitable for all areas.
Handy Foam Soap
Hand hygiene has gained major exposure with the worldwide COVID 19 pandemic. In response to this Polaris has launched a range of certified products for hand washing and sanitising. Our hand hygiene product range, Handy, offers our customers anti-bacterial liquid soap, foam soap and alcohol gel products with EN certification which are all manufactured in Europe. Available in formats suitable for high and low traffic areas the Handy range of products is ideal for many types of outlet.
Handy’s rich lathering Foam Soap comes in an 800ml cartridge with dispenser to match.

Compostable

Polaris are long standing members of the Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) – the primary trade association for the manufacturers, distributors and end users.

Tiger Stripe and Solu Strip
Tiger stripe is ideal for non clinical waste where segregation is required, or clinical waste that is for on site incineration. Solu strip laundry sacks have a strip that dissolves in water, releasing contaminated laundry into the machine.
