deconst_Arc pavillion
project team: gkerliotou vaia, ntrenogianni antonia, savvoulidou eirini, steliou spyridoula
The
primary goal was to design and fabricate
a parametric topology of an abstract figure in
order to create a pavilion structure. The form features the fragmented corrosion of the whole. The broken pieces of an entity still straggling to be, an emergent condition that never ceases to evolve and transform. Therefore, the design priority was a non rhythmic, non symmetric, non recurrent pattern.
The Deconstr_Arc is an experiment of a woodPavilion conceptualized in its physical fabrication placed on the area of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. en

31º modular stool
project team: fragkia vasiliki, ntrenogianni antonia
“A stool is a minimal seat; an object that is meant to be useful and spaceless. At the same time stools are objects of great inspiration, conceived and fabricated by millions of designers, in multiple shapes ” The project is a modular stool created through computational methods.
The

seat and the legs are wooden and
constructed in a cnc miling machine, and the nodes are plastic

What is a border? Is it something it seperates or something that connects? Is it a line, an in-between space or a spatial threshold from a state
The specific project is a study in the area across the evros river in greece. It proposes temporary settlements in the area between the river and the urban areas.

Our
intention was to trans-
form the borderline in an extended in-between space that can act as a dynamic porous common,
as a catalyzer for social interaction. In order to do so, we propose the re-establishment of com-
mon space by the in-habitation of the boundaries on both sides of the streets.

Scripta Materiae of tools and archetypes project team: fragkia vasiliki, ntrenogianni antonia
Architecture is no more about artifacts, objects and context, but rather human-machine interfaces, reduced to the software, the programs and networks that make up the environments that people inhabit. The project embraces this particular contemporary condition of architecture and seeks to propose a
new framework for todays’ architectural practice where human machines and environment constitute a new ecology of open-potential events. Working on the in-between area of tangible and in-tangible computing, the project proposes a small productive space, moving progressively from abstract models of information, to materiality, from materiality to techniques and from techniques to site-specific tools and mechanisms that function as constructed algorithms.

total assembling of the project is shown in the following digram-

The
target at this stage is to land down to earth the forma-
tions that we are getting from our digital investigations and take the design to frabrication through a continuous process.
Fibrous

an industrial fabrication process, include evaluations, reconfigurations from design to fabrication and vice versa.
