Canada passport: New changes soon There are a few new changes coming soon to the Canada passport program. There will be a new E-passport, with 10 year validity for adult passports with complete new fee structure. In this year the new changes are coming to the passport program that will defiantly benefit Canada government to help keep Canada at the forefront of international travel document security. As of from July 1, 2013, here is some new change that is listed below: Canada’s brand new 36-page E-passport becomes available through all service channels available. A completely new fee structure takes effect. Applicant from age 16 and more then that can applies for a 10 year passport. A five year passport will be offered, and all children’s Canada passport will be issued with a maximum of 5 year validity. Here is some significant advice to help with your Canada passport application. You can apply during quieter periods: it is supposed to be good and tends to be less busy in early in the morning on Wednesdays and on Thursdays. o Just save time and avoid silly mistakes: complete you application form on your own PC and print it out once
you completed it. The fill able PDF forms are interactive and can help you avoid silly mistakes. Doing this may also save you time in the passport office as the barcode can be quickly scanned with the information you have just entered. o Cross check: You have to make sure that your application form is fully complete and you have all of the required documentation required that including proof of parentage and other important credentials.
