Iceland The most common cause of accidents on icelandic roads is the wind - it can be so strong, vehicles simply get blown off. After completing the tourist “The Golden Circle “ we came across our first close up of the notorious icelandic off roaders, who were just re inflating their tyres after a trip onto a glacier. Enquiring how the day had gone, one driver replied “ Yah, today is a good day on the glacier......nobody gets lost”.
