Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital provides connected care through a variety of pediatric services, including occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech language therapy. The occupational therapy services include sensory motor feeding assessment, infant feeding evaluations, assistance with transitioning from tube feedings, reflex integration, play development, social skills groups, and constraint induced motor therapy with casting, splint fabrication, durable medical equipment assessments and aquatic therapy. The speech language therapy department offers therapies for speech and language delay, autism and feeding and swallowing therapy. Cardinal Hill has the ability to perform pediatric swallow studies. Cardinal Hill has state-of-the-art facilities for pediatric therapies that include an aquatic center with three pools: a main pool, a therapy pool and a resistance pool. In addition to stairways with rails for easy entrance and exit, two of the pools are accessible by a battery-operated lift. The locker rooms are also fully equipped with accessible showers and lockers. Cardinal Hill makes it easy and fun for patients to improve the quality of their life through therapy.
