Dan Wu, At-Large Council Member and Vice Mayor, has been a strong advocate for the community since his election in 2022. With a diverse background spanning journalism, retail, and the restaurant industry, Dan brings a wealth of experience to his role.

Dan’s commitment to community engagement is evident through his involvement in various organizations, including LexArts, The Human Rights Commission, and Local First Lexington. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dan cherishes his role as a husband to Lauren, a dedicated high school teacher and LGBTQ+ advocate, and as a father to Sofia and stepdaughter Lilly.
