Brevede Coffee

Brevede Coffee is a European Specialty Coffeehouse. Loyal to third-wave coffee culture, an in-house bakery, gift shop that supports many non-profits and workshops, there’s always something exciting brewing at Brevede.

“The goal was to create a destination experience. It came natural, being located in some of the most special places of Lexington, the Distillery District and now a second location in Chevy Chase,” explained Brevede’s Viorika Kopets.

Viorika has a multifaceted background in interior design, building, events, florals, baking, entrepreneurship and now coffee.

“Coming from a large, European family, hosting and bringing people together is where I thrive. As an artist, creating coffeehouses is a way I’m able to invest into our community and help build lifetime relationships. Even with the vast amount of tourism we get, it’s a place filled with familiar and friendly faces. Our customers really make it feel like home.”

As a business owner, Viorika believes in constantly growing, improving and innovating. “I can’t see anything being successful without that. Taking the plunge to learn, work hard and navigate new things is an exciting adventure if you embrace it. And what better way to do it than with a great cup of coffee.”
