Driven by a passion for design and gorgeous magazines for as long as she can remember, Haley Norris has the pleasure of creating the pages of TOPS Magazine as the Vice President of Production at TOPS Marketing Group. She creates advertorial designs, client advertisements and additional content with an unparalleled attention to detail and natural knack for showcasing the best of Lexington and bringing those stories on the page to life.

“Throughout college, I always knew I wanted to design beautiful pages for a magazine and was lucky enough to begin that career with TOPS after graduating,” Norris explained, nearly 10 years later.

With creativity being a lifelong pursuit and passion, Norris also thrives through another outlet that is her wedding planning company, Haley Michelle Designs. Building it from scratch and 7 years later of experience and success, HMD has become something Norris is proud to call her own. Norris offers design and planning services for engaged couples across the state and beyond, which continues to flourish her design experience that in turn enhances her work with TOPS Marketing Group.

“When we conclude one issue and begin production on the next, I get inspired and excited all over again,” she explained.

Richard E. Rogers leans on a foundational lesson he learned early on to deliver thoughtful, and effective legal advice in the legal and real estate fields to his valued clients today.

“I learned at an early age in life what most people consider to be their greatest assets: their families and the homes or farms in which they live,” Rogers recalled. “This understanding in combination with my longing to help others, is what led me to a career in the fields of law and real estate. As poor of an analogy as it might be, I can literally help anyone with a tailored experience from cradle to grave, no matter what their situation may be.”

Practicing law privately in the specialties of real estate, estate planning and probate; serving as in-house counsel for Foundation Title & Escrow Series, LLC; and as acting Principal Broker of Rogers & Co. Real Estate; Rogers offers holistic legal services in some of the region’s most important sectors, advocating for clients and acting as their closest ally along the way.

“The culminating philosophy behind the organizations I am proud to be a part of is quite simple,” he explained. “We strive to challenge conventional thinking by enhancing the customer/client experience, while also bettering the lives of our colleagues, customers and clients, along with all of those whom we share experiences, relationships and transactions.”

Rogers has been driven not only by the foundational lessons of his early life, but also by the example his parents set. Rogers and his siblings were taught that, no matter what they achieved personally or professionally, the most meaningful accomplishments were in how they served others. Rogers has found that he is most able to fulfill that example today by combining his growing expertise in the fields of law and real estate.

“Helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the world for one person,” he reflected. “Law and real estate are ever changing, as are the people and professionals within the industries. As cliché as it sounds, the industries I currently work in truly are relationship driven. That is why I pride myself on being able to relate to as many people as I possibly can, whether it be as an attorney, fiduciary, realtor or friend.”

This emphasis on relationships, and genuine passion for serving as many different people as he can, is what makes this the place that Rogers feels most comfortable and driven to deliver his expertise.

“I love the diversity of the Lexington area, the people who call it home and the many rare attributes that make it what it is today,” he said. “It’s truly an eclectic mix of people, beautiful geography unlike any other in the world, and the many rare qualities it possesses are what make me proud to now call it home.”
