“A Perfect Blend of Bourbon, Food & Music,” Bourbon & Beyond is back and better than ever! Leading independent festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) has added a fourth full day to accommodate the unbeatable music lineup, culinary ateliers, bourbon, spirits, beer, and wine experiences of the World’s Largest Bourbon & Music Festival. Bourbon & Beyond combines massive Rock, Americana, Bluegrass, Blues & Alt Rock talent with Master Distillers, Bourbon Experts, and Celebrity Chefs. Bourbon & Beyond welcomed 91,000 music lovers, bourbon connoisseurs, and foodie fans in 2019. The giddy crowds will return for the first time in three years to celebrate Kentucky’s signature spirit and the fantastic musical and culinary artistry DWP has assembled. New to this incredible destination event in 2022: the Rocks Room Presented By Zelle®, The Louisville Cocktail Competition, Saturday headliner Pearl Jam’s first Louisville show since 1994, and so much more. “I strongly encourage you to act fast in securing your passes,” says Holly Doscher, Director of Marketing for DWP. “This is our biggest year yet!
Culinary Experiences
DWP’s Los Angeles-based festival producers and promoters very recently announced the completed 2022 culinary and bourbon experiences lineup. Festival-goers will enjoy celebrity and Kentucky chef demos, delicious eats from local restaurants, and Southern Hospitality Concessions’ curated onsite food offerings celebrating Kentucky-inspired menus and flavors. At press time, additional details regarding various workshops, demos, tastings, and a full schedule were still forthcoming from DWP. So stay tuned for a few surprises along the way! Edward Lee and Chris Santos will host and lead Culinary Atelier demonstrations on the Kentucky Venues Culinary Stage presented by Kentucky Proud™. Chef presenters include renowned personalities such as Amanda Freitag, Antonia Lofaso, Tiffani Faison, and Louisville’s own Anthony Lamas and Damaris Phillips. In addition to these chefs and those listed below, rounding out this year’s culinary talent are the Followill Family, Gin Wigmore, Hogslop String Band, and Neil Finn of Crowded House.

Bourbon & Beyond is the exclusive host of the final round of The Louisville Cocktail Competition. Five finalists will compete to create the “soon-to-be-infamous” The Louisville cocktail, infused with Kentucky bourbon and intended to represent the spirit of Louisville around the world. The judges tasked with discovering the next Old Fashioned caliber cocktail are Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, bourbon authority Fred Minnick, Black Bourbon Society Founder/ CEO Samara Davis, Chef Chris Santos, and Bourbon Women Founder Peggy Noe Stevens.
