Neck Lift
NECK CONTOUR IS INFLUENCED BY HEREDITY AND AGING.
Anatomically, three layers are important to neck contour: skin, fat, and muscle. Further, there are two separate fat compartments in the neck, one above the muscle and one below the muscle.
THE FAT COMPARTMENT ON TOP OF THE MUSCLE MAY BE ADDRESSED NON-SURGICALLY,
but the compartment underneath the muscle requires surgery for removal. Kybella® or in-o ce liposuction are easy ways to address the fat compartment above the muscle.

THE NECK LIFT OPERATION ADDRESSES ALL THE LAYERS.
It may be performed alone or with a face li . Extra skin is removed. e muscle is tightened. And fat, both above and below the muscle, is removed. Incisions are discreetly placed around the earlobe, behind the ear, and under the chin. A neck li can yield a dramatic change in the contour. If there are also changes in the face, including development of jowls, a faceli combined with neck li is appropriate. Frequently, other procedures such as fat gra ing and eyelid surgery are combined with faceli and neck li for total rejuvenation.
