“I believe in today’s world, while surgeons are often self-credentialed and promoted through social media, I am a bit old fashioned,” Dr. Calobrace explained. “But I believe that the promotion of my work through educational leadership is more authentic.”

Dr. Calobrace’s leadership extends far beyond his role as a KOL and educator, into his surgical talent and beautiful patient results. After all, that’s why he is sought out by his peers and patients from around the world. “I have given a lecture entitled ‘Creating Financial Stability For Uncertain Times,’ and in that lecture I discuss the need to be cautious of debt load and trying not to over leverage your business or personal finances,” he explained. “Don’t spend money before you make it and try to pay down debt instead of taking all of the money out of your business. Of course, one usually has to create debt to scale and grow — just be cautious and expand slowly and deliberately.”
