With a deep understanding of what it means for his clients to buy or refinance their homes, guiding them through some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, Brian Lykins works hard to ensure that his team has the resources and know how to ease them through the loan process with no details overlooked.

“The philosophy I pass on to my team is to treat every client like they would want to be treated,” explained Lykins, a branch manager at AnnieMac Home Mortgage with 19 years of experience and numerous industry awards to his name. “Honesty and transparency are critical for all aspects of life, especially for my realtor friends and for our home buyers’ experience.”

Lykins relies on an extensive background across all facets of mortgage lending — including conventional, jumbo, FHA, VA, USDA and renovation loans — to advise his team members and their clients through any situation, from firsttime home purchasing to refinances. And if there is one thing he’s learned in his career, it’s that the role of the realtor is only growing more important.

“There will always be a need for a human touch when purchasing a home,” he said. “We believe in the need for live human interaction during a complex process — the kind of service and guidance that a phone app can’t provide.”
