Ifyou’re looking to get into some shenanigans this St. Patrick’s Day, we say there’s no finer place to do it than Lexington, Kentucky. While your favorite eatery or bar will no doubt be a fabulous place to celebrate, here are some options you may not have considered. Wherever you end up, have a pint of the black stuff for us!

Lexington St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival

Saturday, March 11

The city’s official celebration is the best place to start. Kick off a day of fun at 10:45am with the “Blessing of the Keg” at the Henry A. Tandy Centennial Plaza. What follows is a whirlwind day of live music, vendors, Irish dancers, nLdelicious food and, of course, green beer! The parade starts at 1pm, and it should not be missed. Fun fact: it’s Lexington’s longest-running citywide civic event!

Lexington’s Best St. Patty’s Day Bar Crawl

March 17 & 18

If you love a bar crawl, this event is for you. Get the details on Eventbrite. Obviously, you must be 21+ to participate, and you’ll need an official wristband.

Friday, March 17
