YANELY FERNANDEZ
• (CIPS) Certified International Property Specialist
• (CDPE) Certified Distressed Property Expert
• (SRES) Senior Real Estate Specialist
Yanely credits the high percentage of repeat referrals to the quality of service they provide. “We continue to follow up. We create relationships out of this. It’s not just a business transaction for us. We treat them like our family,” she says.
It was at age 16 when Yanely Fernandez discovered her passion for real estate. Her mother, who was a loan officer, helped her realize her love of real estate, which led her to get licensed three years later. This year will mark the 21st year since she has been licensed and practicing real estate.
Yanely is both a Broker at Fast Action Realty and a Certified Real Estate Appraiser. Located in Naples, Yanely has a team that helps and supports her in this business. They are constantly being recognized for their remarkable work, and from 2019-2021, Yanely was awarded the Best of Naples Business. She serves most of Southwest Florida and specializes in Collier, Lee, and Hendry counties. Yanely’s local expertise and exceptional experience are just some of the reasons her repeat and referral business is a remarkable 80 percent. While Yanely markets her listings through MLS and social media, both proven approaches, ultimately she credits the high percentage of repeat referrals to the quality service they provide. “It’s how much we go above and beyond with our customers,” she says. “We continue to follow up. We create relationships out of this. It’s not just a business transaction for us. We treat them like our family.”
As for what she likes most about her career in real estate, Yanely says it’s all about the opportunity. “Being able to give back and help people who, before they met me, couldn’t have purchased a home or simply thought they needed to continue renting,” she says. “I love that I can provide my knowledge with customers and help them achieve their goals.” Outside of real estate, each year Yanely participates with her entire team to support Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots initiative. She is involved in her local chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, NAHREP, its mission to create and host events that showcase “the importance of the Hispanic market in the real estate industry,” as “Hispanics are the largest population minority group in the country.” She is also a member of Local Chapters of Business Women (LCBW), an organization for professional business women who want to develop both personally and professionally. And when she’s not heavily committed to her profession and community, Yanely likes to read and spend her time with family.
Looking ahead, Yanely says that expansion and growth are not necessarily what she envisions, but rather restructuring and maintaining the quantity in order to focus on the quality. “We provide our customers with the best service we can,” she says. “I want to keep that.”
Yanely attributes one key aspect of her vision for the future to when she got her appraisal license. “A lot of people told me not to do it, but I did,” she explains. “In order to get it, I had to get my bachelor’s degree and go through a lot of training to get to this status. That’s what helped me get to where I am today.” Her personal and professional philosophy is one that will benefit everyone: “Work really hard now so you don’t have to work as hard later. Keep doing it. Listen to everything going on around you and use that to help you accomplish any goals,” Yanely explains. “I use this to push forward.”
