How can anyone resist reading and/or listening to this book with THIS COVER?!?!?!? It’s definitely one of my faves of all-time. (But don’t let it fool you—this kingdom has been touched by darkness.)

Biiiiig attitudes.
Epic vocabulary designed to suit the world.
Amazing world-building.
Academy vibes. (Specifically: Malice Academy—how
intriguing does that sound?)
Trials.
A reluctant, and rebellious princess candidate.
A sassy pixie.
Malice with its own personality.
A wicked cliffhanger—this one’s quite fun.
Audio:
I hadn’t previously heard of this narrator, to my memory—she sounds amazing! Great voice, I absolutely love her attitude. I feel like she really brought Penne to life—well done.
