“Welcome to the party, princess. Buckle the F— up.”… This installment is laid out a little differently than book 1. It picks up pretty much where book 1 left off, and there’s a lot of time spent on romance and steam so we can get to know the men better. There is mystery throughout, but it’s not a true mystery. As in, it is to the characters, but to the reader it’s extremely predictable.
Still, it’s a fun ride. Packed with action, drama, danger, blood, captivity, betrayal … ends on a wicked cliffhanger.
