2012 Tortuga Swimwear is a collection of girls swimwear designed by Jasmin Cueva. Some of the best times in Jasmin’s life were spent on the beach in a bikini. Jasmin is an entrepreneur and mother of a beautiful 11 year old surfer girl. Her insight to create a girls swim line formed over frustration from the inability to find fashionably fit, quality suits for her active daughter Alexxa. The pair love to soak up the sun & wear bikini's so swimwear shopping is of the norm. Continually finding out-dated prints in baggy, un-stylish cuts made of cheap fabrics, Jasmin knew that something original and fresh needed to be designed. Since girls always covet the fashions they see, she was inspired to make contemporary suits and fit them for girls ages 4-18. Living in the sunny beach town of San Clemente, California and having a deep connection to the ocean, love of nature and travel, Jasmin brought the Southern California Lifestyle to this line. She intertwines Bohemian & animal prints, along with fun colors to make Tortuga Inc. Tortuga Inc. is a Swimwear line that is designed and manufactured in Southern California.
