Do you have any New Year’s Resolution(s)?

To help as many business entrepreneurs and want-topreneurs to achieve their vision and dreams. We are here to serve one another and this is how we can serve the best.

My New Year’s resolution is a standard which is to try and improve my health by losing some weight and exercising more. I am also going to try to be more patient with the assessment of different situations on projects and with issues that arise on a project. That patience enables some time to make sure every angle is included and all solutions are thought through. I will also strive to be more benevolent with providing the practical insight to enhance safety on construction sites and provide more understandable guidance for those who may not be willing to adhere to safety at the different projects that I am associated with.

For 2019 I have a few New Year’s Resolutions that I am determined to stick to. I would like to try and get at least two new leads a week which would also require me to put in more hours making cold calls. I would also like to become more active on LinkedIn. I am very guilty of neglecting my LinkedIn despite it being a great tool to market listings and get to know more about your clients and colleagues. Not to sound cliché, but my final resolution that I would like to do in 2019 is to join a gym (but I might wait for the New Years madness to settle down before I do that)!

Our New Year’s Resolution as a firm is to expand our footprint by purchasing a larger building, expanding our current building, merging with another CPA Firm, and/or acquiring another CPA Firm.

Robert DiLeo Hylan Not to ever sweat the small stuff, but obsess over them. It’s the details that make every relationship and outcome both business and personal - successful.

Instead of New Year’s resolutions, I prefer to call them goals. My professional goal is to grow my business and help my associates do the same. My personal goal is to continue to spend quality time with my family and friends.

On a personal level more leisure time with family and traveling including more summer time off at our beach house on LBI and back to yoga and more physical disciplines; business wise, writing more professional articles as well as teaching at NYU and Stony Brook College of Business.
