TSC provides expertise and instruction for fire safety as required by the NYC building code. The Total Safety Consulting Fire Department, our fire safety division, features an elite team of fire safety personnel complete with retired and active members of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY). They can serve as onsite fireguards or fire safety managers. TSC is also accredited by the FDNY to teach the New York City Fire Safety Directors course as well as the Emergency Action Plan Director course. For this type of training, we work closely with clients to tailor the program to meet their special needs.
TSCMT, our onsite Med Tech Department, offers skilled medical care and works with our clients to develop and implement a comprehensive Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Work Plan to further your goals for an injury-free workplace. A Cutting-Edge Institution for Safety Training Construction safety training is another cornerstone of our business at our state-of-the-art training facilities. TSC offers top-notch environmental health and safety training through our Training Academy. Having your workers prepared to perform their scope of work on active jobsites reduces injuries and helps maintain efficient project timelines. TSCTA, our Training Academy, is a full-service environmental health and safety training center. It is staffed by highly experienced OSHA-Authorized Outreach Instructors. Based in Long Island City, NY, the Academy has satellite sites in the Bronx and Bayonne, NJ, and offers customized safety courses for groups at your jobsite or in your office. Over the past 23 years, our professionals have trained more than 200,000 people, including staff from companies, public agencies and other organizations. The Academy has provided instruction to all levels of employees and in several languages. Courses are conducted in a hands-on format with the featured safety equipment and supported by extensive AV components. Our safety training programs run the gamut Ă‘ covering such areas as the OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response standard (HAZWOPER), site-safety management, rigging, concrete, first aid, protective equipment and scaffolding. We also offer various environmental awareness seminars. Additionally, the Academy delivers custom-tailored training programs for the jobsite or the office, as well as remote training. TSC has provided customized training to a wide range of clients, including the NYC Department of Buildings, the NYC School Construction Authority, Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Railroad, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP, formerly American Society of Safety Engineers), and a delegation from the People's Republic of China.

Quality Supplies & Equipment Safety Supplies Unlimited (SSU), LLC offers a wide variety of safety supplies and equipment ranging from personal protection supplies, fall protection, work apparel, winter coats and accessories, first aid kits, and the option to customize hardhats, jackets and other clothing, at the most competitive pricing. Additionally, SSU offers equipment rentals for gas and air monitors, rescue recovery devices such as tripods and wenches, guardrails and more! In addition to safety supplies, we are FDNY approved to sell and service portable fire extinguishers throughout NY and NJ. We provide monthly and annual inspections as well as recharging, six-year maintenance and low-pressure hydro testing. We offer a quick turnaround time for all inspection appointments to help clients in their time of need; whether there is an accident onsite, a violation has been issued, or the client simply wants to maintain compliance, SSU is here to help! Clients can purchase our fire extinguishers and stands outright however, should they not want to invest the money or carry the burden of owning these units, SSU also offers leasing options for our fire extinguishers and stands. In addition to the FDNY, our technicians are trained through NFED (National Association of Fire Equipment Distribution) and have extensive knowledge in fire-life safety. In conjunction with our sister company, TSC Training Academy (TSCTA), SSU oversees the NJ division of the Training Academy by offering OSHA, scaffolding, site safety manager, awareness seminars, construction and general industry certifications as well as other courses required by NYC DOB Local Law 196.
