Cyprus Airways has a new route connecting Larnaca Airport with London Heathrow Airport (Terminal 2). Travel between the two countries is a popular route. The new daily flight sees Cyprus Airways fly a more regular route as opposed to a seasonal schedule. Cyprus Airways connects Larnaca, through its international network, with 11 destinations: Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Skiathos, Preveza, Prague, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Malta and now London.

Airbus has delivered its first A350 wide-body jet from its Tianjin, China production site to China Eastern Airlines.

Tianjin it the first A320 assembly line outside of Europe.

AIR FRANCE – KLM FIRST TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT WITH SUSTAINABLE FUELS

Air France - KLM has launched the 1st transatlantic flight using 16% sustainable fuels in an Airbus 350 between France and Canada.

French petrol company Total produced the fuels using the processing of cooking oil.

Soon all departing flights from France will be required to use sustainable fuels even at a rate of 1%, as part of the EU targets to shift fuel type. 2% must be used by 2025 and 5% by 2030.
