Junior Warriors Basketball Program
GRADES 6-8
Teams begin weekly, one-hour practices the week of December 4. All practices will be on half-court, with days, times and locations selected by the coach. In January through March, teams continue their weekly practices and play a one-hour game on Saturdays (game start times vary per week). Score will be kept. League may be combined depending on registrations. Game times may vary depending on the number of teams.

Volunteer Coaches
The Town of Danville is seeking positive, committed, friendly, energetic and easy to work with volunteer to coach youth basketball teams for grades K-8. Coaches must obtain an initial or renewed NYSCA certification by attending a training clinic offered by the Town of Danville or online at www.nays.org prior to the first day of practice. All volunteer coaches will be scheduled for fingerprinting and background check. A $40 credit will be given to each parent who volunteers as a coach and completes the paperwork and training provided by the Town.

The Town is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the centers to ensure a secure and enjoyable place for teens after dismissal. Teens can participate in team building, arts and crafts, movie clubs, and more. Our trained recreation staff will create a healthy and engaging after-school environment for your teens. The Teen Centers will open after Labor Day weekend and follow the San Ramon Valley Unified School District calendar. On regular school days, the centers will stay open until 5:30 PM, and on minimum days, they will stay open until 4:30 PM. Additionally, the centers will remain open until the last day of school. You can trust us to provide your teens with a safe and supportive environment. Registration is $175 per trimester and $525 for the entire academic year. Registration is mandatory to participate. Join us for the very first Health & Wellness Day on the Green. This day is a celebration of health and wellness, fitness, healthy eating and will include businesses and non-profits focused on wellness. Come by for fitness demos, resources and tips. Learn about what you can do to improve your personal quality of life. This event is sponsored by the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Town of Danville. There will be activities for families, kids and people of all ages.

RADD BOWLING

This is a recreation class for participants with developmental disabilities. This is a fun, recreational class where participants will learn bowling basics such as approach, strikes, spares, and frames. Each class includes three games and shoe rental.
