Art Explorers

Dates: April 15 - May 13 (5 weeks)

Ages: 5 - 10 years

Time: 1:30 - 3:30pm

Cost: $75/person

Draw, paint, and sculpt in fun new ways! Develop your creative voice in this 5-week multimedia course that encourages experimentation, play, and fun. Students will receive technical instruction on various painting, drawing, and print making techniques An excellent weekend adventure with art in a fun and friendly environment.

Drawing and Mixed Media

Time: 10:30am - 12pm

Cost: $75/person

Hang out, share and learn some art techniques that will make creating fun, expressive and relaxing. Every session has new projects to keep expanding your toolbox of knowledge and skills Explore ideas with graphite pencils, pastels, watercolour pencils, ink and pen.

Gong Meditation

Dates: April 20

Location: Art Gallery Main Exhibition space

Time: 7 - 8:30pm

Cost: $35/person

Imagine yourself lying on a picturesque beach with the sounds of crashing waves washing over you. Relax amongst the artworks in GPAGs current exhibition with wonderful sounds of gongs, singing bowls, and bells. Finish this workshop feeling refreshed and balanced! Bring your own yoga mat (blankets and pillows also welcome) and let this therapeutic session was over you in a beautiful setting

Show your Colours Pride Event

Dates: May 27

Location: Main Lobby

Ages: All ages welcome

Time: 9am - 12pm

Cost: PWYC (suggested $10/person)

Stop by the Art Gallery and Library and take part in our Community Pride Flag Event. Artists will have the opportunity to help design a Pride Flag quilt and to create their own mosaic flag to take home.

At the end of the event, the community made Pride Flag will hang in the lobby for all of Pride month.
