Stallings Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 30, 2013 11:00 a.m.— 1:00 p.m. Stallings Elem. School Ball Fields, 3501 Stallings Road Get ready to hop down the bunny trail! The event is free for Stallings residents and $1 for non-residents. All participants will need a Stallings Egg Hunt Pass in order to participate. Proof of residency will be required. Check the Town’s website closer to the event for details on getting your pass.

DID YOU KNOW... Blair Mill Park will soon be home to an 18-hole Disc Golf Course? Construction is now underway. The course is designed by three-time Master World Disc Golf Champion and Stallings’ resident Stan McDaniel and Charlotte Disc Golf Club. Other proposed uses for Blair Mill Park are: event & classroom barn; boundless playgrounds; multi-use tree house; picnic shelter with bathroom & grills; and lots of walking and biking trails.

Holiday Trash Schedule You’ve opened all the presents… now what to do with all that trash?! God Bless the USA will follow the Christmas pick-up schedule listed below:
FUN FACT According to the latest US Census, the Town of Stallings has a population of 13,831.
Regular Tuesday pick-up customers will have Christmas week pick-up on Wednesday, December 26. Regular Wednesday pick-up customers will have Christmas week pick-up on Thursday, December 27. God Bless the USA will also dispose of your live Christmas trees during your regular yard debris pick-up day. Trees must be under 8 ft. long (or cut up into sections no longer than 8 ft.) and be void of any lights or metal.
Stallings Rental Facilities Want to hold your next event at one of the Town’s facilities? The Stallings Civic Building and areas of the Stallings Municipal Park are both available for rent. Stallings Municipal Park The Park has two shelters available for rent which you can reserve in three hour blocks. Shelter A ($30/resident and $40/non-resident): This shelter is located in the front left of the park. It has two (2) eight foot and two (2) six foot tables for use as well as electricity access. Shelter D ($50/resident and $60/non-resident): This shelter is located in the back right of the park. It has ten (10) six foot tables for use as well as electricity access. In order to rent one of these shelters, you must: Complete a Stallings Park Reservation Application; Submit a Hold Harmless Statement and/or a Certificate of Liability Insurance; and Receive and read a copy of the Rental Policies & Procedures Informational Sheet. Stallings residents must provide proof of residency. Payment is due at the time of reservation by cash or check. For forms or more information on renting a shelter in the park, please contact Parks and Recreation Director Dena Sabinske at 704-821-8557 ext. 227 or dsabinske@admin.stallingsnc.org. Stallings Civic Building The Civic Building is available for rent in four hour blocks. The charge is $30 (with a $25 refundable deposit) for residents and $50 (with a $25 refundable deposit) for non-residents.
