Safer Neighbourhoods Plan on a Page
What is the Safer Neighbourhoods Plan 2022-2027?
A safer neighbourhood is one in which people feel secure in their home, on their street and in public spaces. It is where crime rates are low, there is a collective sense of community, and the environment is designed with everyone’s welfare in mind.
The Safer Neighbourhoods Plan will guide the Town over the next five years, and will help us identify safety and crime priorities, objectives and actions so we can ultimately create a dynamic place for everyone here in Victoria Park. This plan has been created in collaboration with our community and considers evidence-based theories and models.
