SCHOOL HOLIDAY GUIDE
winter EDITION 2022
WELCOME TO YOUR ACTIONPACKED GUIDE TO WHAT’S HAPPENING DURING THE WINTER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. With so many low-cost and no-cost activities on offer, Townsville’s youth won’t have a moment to spare.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Townsville City Council has endeavoured to include activities that assist in the inclusion of children with disabilities or additional needs, young people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds and from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. These activities aim to remove barriers and provide social opportunities for all children, with the purpose of building capacity and inclusion within the Townsville community. All events are drug and alcohol free. Activities are FREE unless otherwise specified. All event information has been provided by event/activity providers and Townsville City Council is not responsible for any error in the information received from those providers.
Townsville City Council acknowledges the Wulgurukaba of Gurambilbarra and Yunbenun, Bindal, Gugu Badhun and Nywaigi as the Traditional Owners of this land. We pay our respects to their cultures, their ancestors and their Elders – past and present – and all future generations.
